First I'd like to straighten one thing out. Can Kilava have given birth to Onrack's child? In the MoI prologue when we meet Kilava for the first time through the eyes of the jaghut mother, we have this: (p6)
"She (Kilava) looked well fed, her large, swollen breast indicating she had recently birthed."
Later on page 10, we learn that:
"The Gathering has been called, the Ritual awaits us bonecaster." --Pran Chole
So, this is before the Ritual. Kilava then goes on to say she will defy the call. When Pran Chole then learns who she is, he says:
"You are the Defier, you slaughtered your clan - your kin -"
Kilava confirms. So, Kilava has fled the Logros, but the Ritual has not yet been called, though surely it has been decided some time ago.
What I don't remember and can't find is the part in HoC when Onrack tells of his night with Kilava. I couldn't have been the night before the Ritual (unless there is a discrepancy), was it then the night after Onos spoke against the Ritual, and Kilava said she would defy the Ritual? And later that morning, Kilava killed her kin and fled?
Is it possible that Kilava birthed Onrack's son?
There's another thing I'd like to bring up. It concerns a thing I read in MoI, that suggested that Kilava and Toc would meet up in the future (not the times they've already met), and that there might be a conflict. At least that's how I interpret K´rul's "concern" about their meeting.
K'rul, MoI p231: "You shall cross paths again. It is, however, of little consequence. It is the final meeting that concerns me, and that will be years away in all likelyhood. Ah, but I reveal unworthy impatience"
Any ideas as to the how when whats of this meeting?
Toc seems more impressed by Kilava's appearance than anyone we've seen, calling her eyes sensual. Though, he then dismisses it as something all Imass have and a look the give everyone they look upon. And I don't think K'rul's concern can refer to anything romatic.
