This thread baffles me a bit. What the hell do you guys keep all those fancy (and dulled) weapons around. Decoration? That's something of an insult to a weapon. Combat? Most of you would just hurt youreselves with all them nunchucks, wakizashis and whatnot.

What's the point?
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

I dont own any swords, daggers, throwing axes, javelins, recurve bows, bludgeons, maces, war hammers, or tactical thermo nuclear weapons, but I will settle for my Browning 9mm, and my 1969 model Sears and Roebuck 12 gauge pump. They make me feel safe in the shower.

I have early middle ages sword, middle ages axe, half year crafted roman gladius (its pretty good weaponsmith), rennaisance left-hand duelling dagger, katana (just modern replica), norman shield, fist shield from later middle ages, chaing hauberk and gloves. And no photo here, because its in another city, damn:)

Andy why I have it - I used to do big historical battles. Historical fencing is pretty popular hobby in Czech republic and when you got 600 on 600 full armored guys (OK, thats one such big battle per year) and no just some LARP nerdies (dont get me wrong, LARP is great - unless its only battle), it has balls!:D (until you got hit by mock arrow...jesus, I wasnt able to walk three days because of hematome).

A tomahawk is proven to be one of the longest lasting weapons in the bladed arsenal. I would say A Tomahawk user Vs a Sword...The Tomahawk user wins.

The Military recently said a'oked to troops having having Tomahawks as not only can they slash,pierce, sentry removal...they are also ultilarian in nature.
