Train back to London's easy, takes maybe half hour into Kings Cross. I think I paid £30 return on the day last time? You can book in advance to be cheaper, but that generally requires catching a specifically timed train, which in conjunction with alcohol could be risky.

And while Mac tries to take the glass and causes a distraction, I can hit the silverware....

Sounds like a plan. I've also organised for my dad to drop me off on the day so could i please get directions to the house or a meeting area? i'm sure we can find our way to the city no bother just where to go once we are there.

I'm not much for the forward planning, my general travel approach is turn up and hope for the best, Toby and the rest pointed me in the right direction last year.
I don't know the plan this year, but last year we jest met at kings cross and traveled from there, i think the ticket was circa £20 on the day, completely forget if that was return or one way, was very hungover and totally smashed on the return journey.

@ Ano - what are your plans for the Friday when you arrive in good 'ole Blighty? Are you staying with us on the Friday night or do you intend to book into the hostel in Cambridge?

OK, you might have to downgrade my status to 'Uncertain' because my new job is commission based and I am as yet not good enough at it to guarantee money every day, so there's a chance I might not have the funds to make it on the 10th. Especially now Tiste's lift is gone.

That would be great - it means an extra space in the car - you need the Citi4 bus to Cambourne.
