Regarding Hood's body - it is said in Reapers Gale that the Jaghut could surrender their place in this world and that their souls could travel to their Hold leaving their bodies behind

This is also spoken of it MT, some Jaghut in Letheras did it to try and hide from the T'lan Imass.

I think it was implied in that part that the Imass was aware of the Jaghut doing this and that they accepted the solution.

in MT bug hides Shurq and undead Ebberict in the old crypts the Jaghuts used in Letheras. Its intersting because there is Forkrul Assail writing on the doors to the crypts. Bug says the FA mediated between the Jaghut and T Imass. Also odd because there are no bodies in the sacophigi in the crypts.
I have seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter at the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain...."

That's what I'm talking about. The FA made the crypts so Jaghut could lie in the coffins and let their souls journey to OP or Devith'anath or somewhere else, hoping that their souls travelling out of their body like this would keep away attention from the T'lan Imass (I think Bugg says it didn't work).

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I will need to read the passage again, but its seemed to me that the Imass were not Ok with leaving the Jaghut bodies in the crypts alone until the FA intervened and mediated. I could be wrong but I want to say Bugg infers that the Imass did grudgingly accept the mediation. He almost makes it sound like a legitimate mediation, and not showuing up and killing everyone type of mediation.

Well it's been implied several timesthat the FA have lost there way. Perhap's they did start out as actual you know mediators. Only over the course of millenia they've just found it easier to kill everyone, and call it "conflict resolution" ; )
