When Sichas Ruin says to Udinaas "she will be queen." who was he talking about? Its as if he thinks its something that Udinaas had also been thinking about. All I could think of was Seren pendac.

I have seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter at the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain...."

I need a little bit more of the context of the quote.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

thats whats so weird, its right when he shows up to try and talk Udinaas into letting him mentor his son, and there really is no context, he just kind of blurts it out, Then moves on to other things...Sorry dont have my book on hand at the moment. I can tell you it is right when Silchas and Udinaas begin their first conversation of the book.

Ruin has been standing in the water for quite some time and I am guessing his mind has been drifting through the warrens/houses/cosmos what ever, and like deck readers can sense change with the Deck of Dragons, some skilled/knowledgable ascendants are able to sense changes and future events.
Since he's an Andii I reckon he was referring to Sandalath, Withals wife, since she's of royal blood and her arrival in KG was quite important.

makes sense. He says it, then I think Udinaas says "who' and silchas kind of snaps out of his fog and gets down to the business at hand...

I figured it was a ref to Sandy as well, esp after her involvement in Fid's reading suggested she would become a bigger player than she had been until then.
In terms of other options only Twilight, who is already a queen, and Seren, who is connected to Shadow, not Darkness, seem to stand out, and neither moreso than Sandalath.
- Abyss, found that kind of random.

other, perhaps lesser possibilities include Kilava who may want to be queen of the imass for some reason. that one's pretty weak. Olar Ethil might want to be queen of the gods or the world, in her megalomania. Tavore might be seeking the position of queen of high house shadow.
Sand makes the most sense though, since it's unlikely that Ruin would care too much about all these others, except Olar Ethil.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.
