I'm quite sure it has been stated that TCG won't have a prologue, just as DoD didn't have an epilogue.
I think the Cotillion & Edgewalker scene was called the 'opening sequence'.

Anyways, I think the prologue being referred to is either the Dust of Dreams one as you've pointed out or perhaps the Cotillon passage from Erikson's letter.


That was me signed in as me. The prologue was in Part 1 (DoD) with TCG being Part 2 of the same book. :p
We'll have to see if we get some other goodies before time - haven't asked for anything, but it would be sweet.

So perhaps I have an ulterior motive in analyzing my own writing here, as if to say: ‘Hey you, no really, I know what I’m doing. Honest. I even think about it. And look at this excerpt — not a sword or busty bodice in sight!’ (Good thing I didn’t use that other excerpt.)

Well, Apsalar isnt "gifted", Tavore isnt gifted at all...Andii I dont know...
But yeah, BH have its nice share of busted marines...:D

Apsalar is, well is now anyway, wasn't really in GOTM. And Tavore is stated as being large breasted as well, she is just plain looking.

So I'll just have to grab every piece of poetry from the entire series now and actually do more than skim-read it as I do with poetry in any fashion 90% of the time? Damn. Nothing's every easy, eh? Mulling over every line for minutes at least, chewing through possible meanings, reading again, analyzing, hypothesizing?
This just got a lot more time consuming than I thought.
Can't leave it out, though.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. I love his attitude (and fact he wrote TtH). And whole "Badalle case"...yeah, I like his ability to spank some of his fans. its nice and..."untrendy".

EDIT: OK, I hate him. His mention of Sudan forces me to work on my graduation theses. Damn, no more procrastination.
