I was wondering about this:

Bauchelain and Korbal Broach Three Short Novels of the Malazan Empire, Volume One.

Are these seperate stories or where they included in the 10 books?

They are 3 separate stories, not part of Malazan Book of the Fallen. (well, it's a side story of characters who have a cameo in the main story)
You can find the first 3 stories in 1 book. There are 3 more stories coming out (only 1 of the new 3 is out atm).

Have you tried the Esslemont books? Night of Knives and Return of the Crimson Gaurd? They're more linked to the 10 book saga than the novellas.

Now they will know why they are are afraid of the dark. Now they will learn why they fear the night. -Thulsa Doom

Ok, thanks for that info.

I might check the other books you mention.

I just finish the 9th book and a little down that the 10th book isn't out. When I started this I thought all 10 were out. It's been a long journey and I would like to finish it. But of course then I'll be depress that it's all over.

Thanks again!
