For all that the lack of CF might be annoying, I don't think it's wise for Link to reveal himself any time soon. Certainly not until morning, at least, and then only if there's an important death we should know about (when we hit scum, we should probably be told, since then we can look for connections). Every day he waits, the more info we'll get when he actually reveals, after all.

Through the lasered opening, Morpheus screams, blasting
away at the machines; comet-wads of plasma burning holes
in their armored housings.

Trinity collapses onto Neo's body.

this is interesting, because, in a way, this is just like a Benses game, only even more screwed up.
I can't help bu think that the town could've used more info before the Reload.

Well, it seems fairly certain that Agent Smith caught a lucky break, and got Neo night 1. And the partnered killers got Ruse (or whoever he was before). Not the greatest of outcomes, but not particularly bad either.

With the alts shuffled, any leads from Day 1 basically go out the window, since we can't be certain who is who. So it's virtually a Day 1 again.

Or vice-versa, partners got Neo and smith killed Ruse. Whichever it was, the premise of what you're saying does seem to be the most likely. So last night Neo got a cookie and Agent Smith can start recruiting tonight. We're at a slight disadvantage in that the killers can try alt guess whoever they killed in order to not target them again.

And I seriously doubt link will come forward unless he has something game-winning to reveal. It would be pretty pointless for him to make himself a prime recruit/NK target just to reveal that everyone who died so far was a random crowd member. And starting tomorrow, any reveal by link would have to be taken with a big pinch of salt, since even if it's not a fake claim, there's no way of knowing that he can be trusted.

I think we did reasonably well for Day one considering how the past couple of games have gone. Added to the fact we managed to hammer out most of the mechanics and a gameplan, it's more like Day 1++.

I don't know the protocol behind Neo getting hit by the other two agents, but it doesn't say in the rules that it triggers the Reload. So I'm gonna bet Smith hit Neo.
