And I was going to be "G".

I'm going to keep calling MTS Mappo and HD Hoosier.

Just so that anyone who comes on after this change won't have a clue who i'm talking about.

I have a question: where does 'random' come from, (is it really random or does it have a connection with the literal meaning of the word?) And does it mean the same as cool?

When I read "random": I read "strange," or "weird." As in, well, that was random (strange). How random (weird) was that?

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

From the Germanic randir, which means to run, or gallop.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I'll second (third?) "bounce", although my friend tends to use it a lot more than I do. I used to say "booyah" a lot but I seem to have dropped it lately. Oh, and then there's "shizz"...as in "that's some random shizz". Beats the hell out of me where that came from but I do use it, mostly in emails. It sounds really weird when you say it out loud, like you have a speech impediment or something. :(
