I am thinking Kill Gamelon instead.. he is pretty much CI'd on thread. I won't change my provisional until I hear from you. Also I didn't change my order... the mayor wouldn't go into effect till day 7 and I don't think the game will go on that long, so kind of a waste.

Looks like The Dude finally realized Gamelon can't be kept alive.

Ok, switching to a Gamelon kill is fine by me. I"ll put it in to PS.

And I'll go ahead and say I healed Thyr.

Agreement from Shin. They haven't submitted the actions yet though...

Well now Baudin's about to make an absolutely killer mistake.

Hood, on 26 January 2010 - 04:18 AM, said:

ok lets do this
Kill Thyrlann

if he is lynched and is the master of the house but the game doesnt end then
Kill Kalse

If he is lynched and comes up inno

Kill Osseric

hopefully with that i can hit scum or at least narrow it down significantly

Since it's 4-3 right now, any town lynch will end the game, with plenty of NAs to just hammer that point home.

Mayor is NOT in play today so this is the only chance town has... and they gotta get it right big time, considering Thyr is going to die tonight with the given actions (Game and HP also set to die).

Even if they lynch Mockra or an apprentice, it's going to be 2 v 2 tomorrow with the current actions... that would mean an automatic scum victory, I believe, yes?

In fact, the ONLY way the scum don't win this one, even with a scum lynch, is if Baudin fixes his NA or the killers screw up and change their NAs to hit the same target.

I take it back after reading the thread, the game is effectively over. Two townies have voted for other townies. It is brainlessly easy for Mockra and his cronies to pick one of those two and add their three votes.

I won't end it yet in case they don't show up, or town suddenly gets smart, but lack of participation has really allowed scum to cruise to victory.

MotM is probably going to be Bent. GK had a great thing going there with his turnaround but didn't capitalize on it and let himself get steamrolled. Bent went from a really shaky position, used the thief very well throughout the game, and led his team to victory.

If it wasn't for that 48 hour lan I wouldn't have been rushed in the last bit and I would have twigged that Mockra being guarded meant he was scum.

So gaurd Serc, kill Thyrllan

Doesn't really matter here, it's over.

I should probably have been posting more messages to SH - sorry about that (you're doing a great job, PB!). Unfortunately I don't really have time to do it while at work...have to keep the moderating quick Posted Image.

Anyhow, unless some of ths scum try to steal from the Bomber (they die immediately, by the way) or get targetted by the one remaining Vig shot, I can't see any other ending than them waltzing to victory here. Participation is just too low for the innos to coordinate a lynch properly. There's an awful lot of tools at the innos' disposal - they can use the reticence of the Apprentices to choose the King and Consort cards to trap them for example, or get a Guard right. But they've got to work together to use the information they're all getting properly, and with so little being said, that doesn't look like happening. Particularly if Silchas gets killed off tonight - Alt was the only one who was really pushing for that to happen.

I don't understand the "This will give the scum more information" approach - this game is deliberately set up so that the loss of one inno barely hurts the team at all. Players should be ready and willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good in the knowledge that whoever is left can take up the mantle of the Roled avenger. Shame that hasn't come to the fore.

Sir Thursday

This.

I kept expecting select reveals to put Kalse and I in a position we'd have to try to squirm out of. I kept thinking of ideas for info that could come out on thread that would put us in handcuffs. In fact, I had at least 2 posts all typed up and then frantically edited them because I realized I would be putting ideas out there that I didn't want anyone to run with! Should've been an inno this game. ;)

Shin and The Dude are practically unlynchable. Shin I think has only been lynched as scum when he was outed by a finder. I think The Dude has never once been lynched in a game of Mafia.

I don't know if Mockra survives today, that seems a bit of a stretch, but when you control 3 out of 7 votes, and Gamelon is already kind of on your side, it's hard to imagine the scum not pulling this one out.

That is correct. The Benses game.

For that matter, I've only been lynched once as an inno, and that was in my very first game. If I'm not NK'd, which actually does happen to me, I'm always around for endgame.

I was continually shocked by the lack of information being presented, TBH. Players should have been much more willing to share, given the volatile nature of the game.

Hell why do you think I threw that massive rant when I was nearly lynched.

Happy B-day dead hedge. I had no idea you were the noob. (Thought it was GK, lol, hence my coaching, well that and I thought he was symping me to death, lol) anyway, great game by you, hope you join us again. I really want to say that Shin was a fantastic symp. The dude wasn't around enough to give me a signal I could grab onto, but end game, he not being around really helped hand us the win. Great job both of you.
