So I did the draw, and some how the innos have contrived to give the scum pretty much every card they want - the Guard and Healer cards mean they can't be blocked, and the Vig card means they're not going to get hit at night. Pretty much a perfect hand from them, but pretty poor play from the innos given that the scum were picking 3, 5 and 7.

Gamelon's card orders have been good up to this point, but she really should have changed it up here - the Consort is not as important as some of the other cards at this juncture.

Serc's Mayor pick was actually alright - that's not a card you want in the hands of the scum at this point (although they've got to get to tomorrow for that to be a concern).

I don't think Card Finder is that useful to the innos right now - the time for gaining intelligence is past. Healer/Guard/Vig are the cards to be grabbing at this point. So not so keen on Thyrllan's pick.

I do, however, like Hood's Path's Thief pick. This is the one wildcard that could affect the night actions tonight - if he steals the Guard card from Mockra or the Vig card from Kalse, he could actually keep the innos in the game.

And then the scum facepalm thinking they screwed up the draw... but they don't realize the Mayor was taken before any scum had a chance. The best 3 cards right now are Thief, Guard, and Mayor, probably, which means Bomber is a fairly legitimate choice (for non apprentices) if you can't get one of those 3. Gamelon is, if nothing else, getting 2 town draws in every turn by making sure to draw first.

While it is certainly a sound strategy to try and get the Mayor card, especially if you anticipate a scum lynch or death, The Dude really needs to be looking around at the odds of him even drawing the card. Gamelon has shown no indication that she's going to give up the Consort position, and the King is not really in play any more. As such, Gamelon will continue to draw first and Kalse and Osseric are sitting near the end of the draw when that happens.

Gamelon was kind enough to show everyone where they are sitting, so in order to get any real shot at drawing early, Kalse and Osseric need to kill Gamelon and hope that nobody else drafts the Consort or King, IMO. That way it's random who gets the first draw, but there's no possible first draw that is worse than their current one.

Also, I'm not going to work out the math of it right now, but Mayor may end up just not being that useful for them this late in the game considering it will be 2 more days before it's in play.

Interesting move here. Bent wants HP gone more than Serc. HP is currently not using the vig (which is why Bent switched the guard to Serc), so leaving HP unblocked is safe... for now. Then blocking Serc is a fantastic move because it prevents the Mayor from potentially causing end-game issues (although it may not matter with the VCs as stated if an inno dies today).
