Speak of the devil, and he shall arrive.
Just because I know it's going to raise questions, my recent itinerary has been:
Thursday - go to friend's house at 11am, party all day, all night, and until midday Friday
Friday - get home at 12:30, go shopping, return home at 4, sleep until 8, watch Silence of the Lambs with dinner until 11-ish, crash out
Saturday - get up at 7:15, to catch a bunch of classmates and van ride to a ferry for a weekend on an island, marking the end of four years in a certain group which we founded within the school. Spend most of the day removing weeds and tramping. After dinner, stay out until 11pm to listen for Kiwi's which we helped release onto the island (epic alt giveaway), and also watch Christmas in the Park fireworks which we can see in the city from certain points on the island. Play card-based mafia. Go to 'bed' at 2am, spend another couple of hours quoting nearly the entirety of Aliens with former teacher, annoying all others
Sunday - get up at 7:30 for an early morning swim. Spend all day doing beach cleanup/packing up/cleaning up, and then play games in the sun. Get back on Ferry at 3:30, arrive back in city for 4:30. Get back to school at 5:30. Have dinner at home 7:30, go to sleep at 10pm.
Monday: Sleep in until 1pm. Get up, and spend the rest of the evening working out university timetable, and enrolling in courses. Harder than it sounds. Takes about 6 hours. Have dinner, and watch We Were Warriors with Mel Gibson in it until 11pm. Sleep again.
Tuesday: Get up this morning at about 9am. Nearly caught up on lack of sleep. Spend all morning trying to get laptop and internet working. Go Christmas shopping from 1pm to 5pm. Epic failure, only purchase chocolates for self, book for self, Christmas crackers, a duvet, have lunch, and look at iPod's for mother/father. Come home, talk to friend about his university woes, which are worse than mine. Power cut at about 5:30pm, comes back on at 7pm. Finally get to internet related stuff. Attempt to read up. Give up. Posting this at 8pm.
So, there you have it. My life over the past week or so (not to mention the family over last Tuesday, the wedding last Saturday, the dinner on Sunday, and the really old friend's 21st birthday I was supposed to attend on Saturday but instead went to island).
So apologies for the lack of participation, but I'm back now. You can see in my posts where I referenced the party prior to going away, and you can imagine why I was a bit irritable when the game first started (not that anything of this is bad - it's all win, but it does start to get on top of you with so much stuff happening together, combined with lack of sleep, and the whole Christmas rush thing kicking in around now).
Anyway, reading up a bit after dinner, apologies again.

You do know "I'm sorry I've been super busy" would have been good enough. That whole post has a 'I can't be evil, I was away" and "it must be true, look how many details there are" feel to it. Not saying that it's a lie, but I dislike RL defenses. I'd very much like to hear from the rest of yesterday's no-shows, hopefully we can get this game moving forward again.

Whether you did go or not is actually irrelevant, since you could have been away and had a long chain of provisionals. I just dislike long RL related posts, especially when the form some sort of defense. If you had directly implied that your absence made you inno I would have voted for you immediately. Still not happy that that's implied a little, but I'd like to hear what your thoughts on the game so far are and what the other missing people have to say too.

Like I have any thoughts to give on a game I haven't been caught up with for five days.
I'm not implying myself as innocent any more than any other player, I've just had an absence far longer than any other player, most of whom only seemed to have missed the weekend on my attempts at reading up, while I've been gone for far longer. If you don't like me talking about it, then suit yourself. But I don't think "Hi guys, sorry I've been gone, back now, reading up" quite covers the amount of inactivity I've had.

I also don't appreciate getting a lecture on how to explain, coupled with expressions of suspicion over, absences from a player who has less posts than me despite my RL commitments. Just putting that out there.

Just because I was busy the first couple of days of the game doesnt mean I can't put pressure on people now that I have some time free. And it's precisely because you've been gone for so long that I'm interested in what your take on the last few days is.

Well I am here now and actually have a bit of time to play for a change.
Dont really have much to add to yesterday's semi-revealfest other than it's a little suspiscious the way some people stated very clearly what Kalse and Korbas were trying to remain vague about. Or at least I remember thinking "why would you actually go and say that" a couple of times. I will have to look again who exactly it was.

Did you ever find these people? I thought the same thing a couple of times, but lost who they were as well.
I also find the Korbas/Sorritt/Kalse thing confusing. Korbas outright states that Kalse is the *one person* we absolutely need to keep alive, and then Sorritt tries to do a weird reveal to cover Kalse's importance, so that Kalse has to come out and protect him. That made me wtf.
However, outside of Kalse and Sorritt, and myself,
Alkend, D'riss, Hood's Path, Karatallid, Liosan, Rashan, Shadow
I believe Korbas had suspicions of Hood's Path, about strategic lurking.
Here we go:

I am also suspicious of HPs absence - I think he checks in once a day. If I alted him right, he's usually amongst the high posters and I can't say I recall him saying he would be sparsely available. Strategic lurking is my guess.
Also, as long as Kalse is alive, the Bride can't win. End of story. That should be priority number 1.
And that'll do me for tonight. Be back on in full force tomorrow.

Well here are two posts where people spell out what Korbas and Kalse had been trying to hint at.
you seem pretty damn certain of that, Shadow. I think you know something the rest of us don't...
So you make a claim that cannot be proven. I say 'claim dosen't go with the movie', you claim we aren't following the movie closely, and I say we are.
That makes me scum, right?
So from what I understand, you are either lying, or you just revealed as Bill. I hope we have a healer.
A couple of people also seemed to be fishing for information, but given the wierd nature of the reveals it's understandable that people would want to make sure they aren't having the wool pulled over their eyes. That said though, both reveals were reasonably solid and asking for additional details from people who are VPI can only help scum - if people have come made the plunge and revealed, I trust they would tell us everything we need to know and trying to force them to give additional details just seems a little scummy.

OK, so Korbas started to connect himself to Kalse, then hinted he was the kid so that the Bride would pick it up, conclude that Kalse was Bill, then Korbas deflected from Kalse to Karattalid, and waited to see who would attack Kalse after he failed to die.
Either Korbas and the Bride are the biggest geniuses this game ever saw, or there's simply the coincidence that Korbas happened to chose right.

So yes, the bride kills Bill before taking the kid.
And Kalse, I assume that was via the reveal, and the bride couldn't have killed since she didn't have a sword before then. (Notice the scene did ninja stars, right?)

Ok, so I've caught up and calmed down a bit. Sorry about exploding yesterday, I just cant understand why the hell Sorrit threw my name out there as if I would just go along with him thinking I recieved a message. As if I wouldn't deny it, and call him a liar. Anyway, hopefully he will get on today and explain that to me. Whatever.
I'll try to be around a little today, maybe make a case or 2, but its gonna be hard with the people who are left that havent been on very much to get info on.
