yeah, I think so, too. You were going to be lynched, nothing to do there, and you put out all info about the other roled (=enemies) out so that they can bite the dust. Best you could do, imho.

And Ampelas wants to know if he can kill a powerlevel 10 guy, being powerlevel 10 himself. He wins the 'flip-flop-of-the-night' award.

~still the same guy. Obdi gone again?

I'm here(ish).

No, he can't kill a power level 10 guy as power level 10 himself.

You don't need to tell him that thought.

well, he asked for the info and removed all NA's before he gets an answer. Don't think it matters much, now, since Kashan will cancel everythings anyways.

And I'm out for today, so I won't tell him anything. :(

Ended night, went with DIBSY and said 'Night 4 is over. It is now day 5.'

Ummm... is there 16 people alive? Did Deidre, Michael, and Liosan all die? am I insane?

There should be 14 people alive, I think, not 16. When I counted yesterday there were 15, and Liosan has since died...

Here's the list of alts from the first page:

Ampelas
Anthras
Barghast
D'riss
Eloth
Emurlahn
Fener
Galayn Lord
Gamelon
Hood's Path
Kaschan
Korvalain
Liosan
Meanas
Mockra
Okaros
Olar Ethil
Osseric
Rashan
Ruse
Serc
Silchas Ruin
Tennes
Tulas Shorn

Yep, adds up to 14.
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Well, it looks like DiBs' spam was good enough to divert Mockra from D'riss - he's got him first on the "Least Likely to be HP's Master List"!

Rashan knows D'riss is a vampire I believe, due to night 2 action.

Thinking about it, I got reaaaaaaally screwed over by that night 2 action by Tennes. There was no way I was living after that. Posted Image. By the way, what happens if say Nicodemus gets lynched? To the denarians I mean.

Whatever remains of the denarians would attempt to complete their victory conditions.

Much like Sanya can be doing.

I meant where does the denarian (coin) go, since the only real way Sanya can win now is really by lynching the denarians and somehow getting the coin.

If Sanya or Harry are on the lynch train, they will grab them.

If they are not on the lynch train, they 'dissapear into the crowd'.

Presumably if Nicodemus is lynched then two coins are dropped, right? Since he hasn't handed out both of the spares he started with...

Which means that in order for Rashan to win, he has to get Ampelas lynched while also finding some way of keeping the weather at +5. The only way that's going to happen is if they lynch a Cabal member today (if they don't, it'll be at -6 and the only way to get it back to -5 is to kill off the other Cabal member, in which case Harry wins.

Question: If a coin is taken out of the game because Ampelas/Meanas is lynched, and neither Ruse nor Rashan is on the train (ie. the coin vanishes) what is its status with regards to VCs? Harry's VC seems to imply that the coins have to be in the possession either of himself or the knights...whereas Sanya's VC isn't quite as clear on that point...

It has to be with the Knights or Harry as I assume that's what he means by collect at least 3 denarians between us and harry.

Dear lord Bent has gone crazy on thread. Even I was convinced reading it he was a weather mage, his CF is going to be a surprise I suspect.

Question Obdi, if they had lynched Ampelas and Rashan was on the train, would that have been a win for Rashan and game over? After all he's get Nic's coin and the spare coin, and I think weather is at -5?

I'm just confused as to when people win, or does the game go to one side having majority and then multiple winners announced?

Team Demon is in trouble, they need that extra kill out there since Harry can't be Night Killed at the moment.

I'm not sure right now how I would handle it.

I would either:
Pull Sanya from the game, tell the knights they win, and let others keep playing.
or
End the game and declare the knights the winners.

Probably the first option at this point

I think Bent is mad that noone has recruited (frankly, both courts have failed miserably at trying to recruit) and he is bored with the game since his winning condition is basicly to 'survive' where the people with more knowledge/power have harder victory conditions, at least that is what I attempted to do. The more you could do, the more you had to do to win.

Honestly I was bored and had no idea on who anyone was. So I played my role. as RI you look for scum, when you find them you lynch them, you do this until you get recruited or win. Those saying its not that simple were who I saw as scum.

Bordom played a huge factor in my pissy-ness though. I had no time to at the beginning, and when I finally had time to play properly and there was known scum there, I went for the kill. It was a good game, but I was lost for the most part. I probably should have just asked for the mod kill.

I think the one problem with this game is the lack of obvious goal for the RIs - if you've got a role/faction, you've got some kind of insight into the mechanics of the game, but as RI you get nothing. You really need something to aim at to counteract the boredom that comes from perpetually stumbling around in the darkness.

In fact, I feel this is a major problem in general with high TMDI games - they're only really fun if you've got a good role, otherwise you miss out on a large proportion of the fun going on behind the scenes. Whereas with lower TMDI games, it's not such a problem as there are fewer NAs going through that you're missing out on.
