HI all! I'm back... for a bit. My company is moving today. I am incommunicado for the rest of the day.

I'll be back tonight...but it is friday, so not sure how motivated I will be to post. We'll see. I have like 2 min here so I am racing around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Good work on the Galain lynch. Seems it helps everyone :) I'll try to be back later tonight.

Stephanie was having tea with Kevin J. Anderson: “Hi Kevin J. Anderson, I’m having tea with you.”
Kevin replied: “Yes you are, Stephanie Meyer, its funny how we have to say that out loud for some reason.
“So anyway, how’s those books of yours coming along?”
“Oh wonderful, Kevin J. Anderson! I just have the epilogue left on the second one and I’ve got the whole 4-book series planned out, too. I wish I could write more books and get more money, but I just don’t think I’m creative enough to think up any more sexual fantasies. I’ve already been re-using the same three adjectives over and over again, going past 5 books would be too hard!”
“Well actually, Stephanie, there are ways around that.” said Kevin J. Anderson. “If you rewrite existing material, you can use the same sexual fantasies and even the same plot, but still get money from it as if it were a new book. Star Wars, Starcraft, X-files, Predator… all those books of mine were practically spoon-fed to me. All I had to do was divide them into chapters and the publisher paid me like I wrote the whole things!”
“But I made up my plot. Sorta. Don’t tell Joss Whedon. Anyways no one will feed me stuff to write, Kevin J. Anderson!”
“Well then you need to feed yourself, Stephanie! Tell me, have you ever heard of Orson Scott Card’s ‘Ender’s Game’? After he had written three sequels he went back and rewrote the first novel from a different character’s perspective and published it as a separate novel. You see where I’m going with this?”
Light dawned in Stephanie’s eyes. Then faded. Then glimmered again. Then vanished completely.
“No. Not at all. What are you trying to say?”
“You should rewrite Twilight from Edward’s perspective, Stephanie.” Came Kevin’s exasperated reply.
“Oh. Right. Good one. Okay, let’s go enact some vampire fetishism for the New Moon epilogue I’m about to write and then we’ll talk some more about that…”

* * *

Galain (Bubba) is dead. Police identified him as Edward Cullen. An autopsy of the victim reveals he was a Vampire. Cityofficials believe he was associated with the Cullen family.

It is now Epilogue 2. 8 hours remaining.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

good morning / noon to you all. I see we got another Cullen, that's good. However, reading this thread gives me but one reaction: :)

You are not as stupid as the last few pages of this thread imply. Repeat after me: "I am not as stupid as the last few pages of this thread imply. I will think before I post. I will read, not repeat."

Technically I'd like to quote pretty much every post, but instead I end up a couple before exacerbation made me just give up quoting.

Oh, and I think I'll start of by:

vote Galain.

There has been enough eyebrow raising over the way in which he behaved/worded stuff so far, and since I'm busy, I'm not going to requote everyone's remarks.

hmmm ... i'll hold my vote for now...dont want this day to become too pedestrian, I will be placing my vote on galain again if nothing better comes up.
Barghast being new and all lends strongly to the view that he was galains symp. Also my initial feeling on galain is still the same as yesterday and i feel i was right with regards to him being very indifferent with his voting on merely a whim. Lending to the thought that he is pretty comfy in already knowing who his team is.
His reaction to my thoughts on him was to just blow me off and say im paranoid...not really convincing in my book.

But lets see how the day pans out...got plenty of time.

See; at the time you posted this, THIS WAS A LIE! You've repeated this so many times that people have started repeating it back to you, yet it has no basis in reality. It's something you've cooked up out of thin air. Galain voted for you early in day 1 ergo he must know who his team is? Are you fucking high?

View PostOmtose, on 23 October 2009 - 09:34 AM, said:

My only worry is that galain just came out and placed that vote simply to get a reaction.
But then thats just bad merc game play.
.. You cant go around voting left right and centre in these games it can give away too much.

Bargy jumping on the train shows his in experience...but what was galain doing throwing his vote out?...i think it was a sort of freudian slip and he didnt think about the ramifications because he didnt have to.
evereything is clear for him...he knows enough to not worry about who he is voting for and thats a hellava lot more than what i know.

THIS IS NOT A FUCKING MERC GAME YOU STUPID FUCKING CLUNGE. Goddammit. This is a town vs multiple scum factions. Some of those scum factions are organised merc style, but that is absolutely irrelevant. In this game lynching is more important to the innos than pretty much in any other game we've played and you're trying to angle it so that Galain's vote on you for being arguably suspicious was some sort of stupid move. It was not. You completly lost your head with Barghast's vote and overreacted something magnificently. Everything else from you have just been back pedaling. What really pisses me off though is that people buy your bullshit as if it's gospel.

...

Then of course it's the claim which has become a theory which has become fact that I was symping Galain. Some times I get so fucking pissed with you guys I want to throw something at the wall. Of course I defended Galain. Votes were piling up on him following Omtose posts which MADE NO FUCKING SENSE. It's irrelevant that Galain turned up as Edward in this regard as his approach nevertheless was the right one. He wants 3 enemy teams down before the innos. Omtose seems to believe we're playing the Culture game for some reason and everyone seems part of his fucking delusion. It makes me so frustrated to see what I consider relatively intelligent people act like they've got half a brain between them and three bottles of vodka empty under the table. I'm his fucking symp? Fuck you and the horse you rode in on. I'm the only intelligent person among you flock of drugged sheep.

God I wish I had multiple vigs to use on you stupid fucks. It would make me feel a little better knowing I was surrounded by a few less morons.

Well, another cullen down, that's good news. I live in hope that Bubba did it on purpose, or else it was epic fail by him. Probably at most 1 more Cullen left given if they had started as for and were possibly cult, then they would probably have been overpowered.

Hopefully the night will be shorter this time.

Funny you should say that. Equally funny is the fact that after Omtose you're my favourite candidate for scum

Cool story, bro. Also, stomping your feet a bunch does not a defense make.

Defence against what? That I'm a symp. Oh please, as if there's such a thing.

Back for a bit.

Things moved waaaaaaaaay too quickly for my liking today. Wish I could have been around to participate more during the day, although I have to say that as I was reading through my initial instincts were similar to Serc's - Galain made the first vote of the day, I didn't think it was beyond the realms of possibility that Barghast had simply decided that he wanted to exercise the right to vote. Guess I was wrong though :).

I still think it would have helped us to move a bit slower on this. I found this post particularly contradictory:

Istill think it might have been just a bit more planned out than youguys are supposing, but hey! A Cullen is dead. Possibly from suicide.Troop the colors and all that.

I want to see the more inactiveplayers - like, for example and for no particular reason, Serc - postmore, otherwise we'll be attempting to lynch Galain and possibly Omtosepurely because they're not only talking, but practically squirmingunder the spotlight. And on that note

vote Galain

If Kessobahn wants the low posters to contribute, surely it's better not to rush a lynch through?

Other thoughts: Much as I'm glad that we're hitting the Cullens, I can't help but feel a little apprehensive. I look at the victory conditions and note that in order for the Coven to win, they only have to kill 7 players. And 2 of them are already dead. That puts them at a big advantage over both other scum factions and the town at the moment, since all the others have to kill far more people in order to win.
