Hi all,
I've just finished reading Gardens of the Moon for the first time, as the wait for George R. R. Martin's "A Feast For Crows" become too much, and I managed to buy both it, and Deadhouse Gates for only £2 each in an local bookshop
I'm really glad I read it, but I felt slightly annoyed by some of the plot aspects. I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt until i've read a bit further into the series, but here's a question that's confused me since the beginning:
I am assuming that it is supposed to be Whiskeyjack with Paran and Surly in the Prologue? In that case why does it say "commander in the Third - one of the Emperor's own, an elite" and then every other reference in the book (including the character lists) imply that Whiskeyjack used to be in command of the second?
I'll write up some more questions later, i'm sure!
Cheers,
Michael
