First snow storm of the year!

Just because I don't use "g"s at the end of progressive sentences, say "ain't", and grew up in the sticks does NOT make me a hillbillie. We don't have hills and my neck ain't red, it's pasty. I'm a hick. There's a difference.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I hate this place, lol.
On a topic related note, going to rain massive amounts tonight and tomorrow. So I plan on napping all day.

Winnipeg has had it's first taste of snow too. Unlike DW and Rodeo, I am not a fan of the cold white stuff! I'll gladly send it all over to you boys! We didn't even get fall here. It's not fair!
Com'on TB, snow is fun, you just have to go out and enjoy.
Snowforts, Snowballs, Skiing (granted downhill skiing in Manitoba is kind of difficult), skating, sleding. Always a blast.
Also, notice how Rodeo has mentioned that he hates less? Rodeo hates winter probably more than you do.
He still hates. Just not as much as last year.

Pretty nasty outside. Being unemployed and crippled has its benefits. I don't have to deal with the idiot drivers who have forgotten how to drive in winter conditions.
No sir, I'm on the computer, drinking a Molson Ex and listening to tunes. Far superior.

Glad to be of services Rodeo, with less hate your blood pressure won't be as high and you'll live longer.
Though I with most everyone on the beer front. Molson Ex is bad, I'm sure there was Sleeman you could have bought and some of that wild rose stuff looks good to.

To be fair, it was my brother's beer. I merely "appropriated" it for a good cause.

No need to worry, global warming will take care of that soon enough.

Holy crap! I'm at a bible camp in northern Ontario and its been snowing for almost 24 hours! It looks like December around here! Tehol, tell me, is the winnipeg area blanketed? I hear disturbing reports from back at the ranch. Is it as bad as they say?

I have an equally good question: What are you doing in Northern Ontario?

Scenery is still awesome even if it's cold, sometime more so.
As to the canoeing, well go Kayaking instead.

Eight months of snow and ice? Did the nuclear war start early? Where do you live, Brynjar?

Bloody hell, winter is here far too early. Dipped down to -16 C the other night and perpetual snow flurries.
Could be a very long winter.
