originally claimed they were the same nationality as myself even though i knew he was lying. can form multiple lover relationships, each given him a limited find. clearly had vig and guard and find powers though they do seem finite with scenes etc.

I gotta say though, as much as I like the Barghast case I made, I am starting to feel like I am being led around a little by you Game. You make sense, but its awfully conveinent that you are just now putting the fact that Bargy tried to kill you together. I dont like being a sheep. But for now our thinking is running paralell, but IGMEOY

i aint 100% convinced he is scum, it never occured me to link that scene with him as i wasnt sure there was only one person. he also never mentioned it off thread, so i didnt link the two. i would prefer not to speed lynch him until he can answer my questions.

i have thought your posts have had content, there just have been very few of them. it is making it very hard to get a read on many players.

Could everyone take the list of characters and indicate which ones they think they know?

dont put down names just yet, but if we can get some leads on characters it would be very useful i think to discover who the sniper is.

as i was going through the scenes today i spotted this one

now have we seen this guy with the golden teeth before because i cant remember seeing him in any other scenes.

The guy with the golden teeth is the guy with the hoodie/sweater? He's some sort of sabotage guy I think which is why he's getting punched. He pulled wires out of a car, stopped the transmission of Alpha/Guy with glasses, and maybe one other thing?

On the Barghast thing yeah it is a bit dodgy him trying to strangle someone on the first day. Originally i thought that the fact that he basically described himself in his first post would have been a really stupid thing for scum to have done just after a scene about him but then realised that he may have done it before realising about the descriptions of every action so i think he might be a good lynch for today but il let him post first to defend himself

another thing ive been trying to do is work out which of the characters in the scenes are actually scum.
so far weve got the obvious ones of the:
grey haired man (seen trying to offer the american a deal at the start)
The Sniper guy (killer
and possibly
the business woman (seen creating a fortress, and i have a suspicion shes the one who interrogated the blonde though im not sure on that one)
The black man who strangles people

anyone got any other ideas?

Well, Liosan's death is worrying. Day kills are never a good sign. Foster St. John is a great name though.

I'll play ball with you on the list thing, Game. Don't have much to add though. Only other I know is Delta. I kind of think most people will be hesitant to do this, forfear of making their nationality more deducible. Especially Americans,with identities like Alpha, Delta and Dogtags lol.

having problems getting on the board there. i think a list of characters that we can really pick out would cut things down a lot.

bargie says he isnt scum (which of course he would) but he says he had to use it or lose it and then did a find on me when he couldnt kill me. it fits.

i think i would prefer to cut down on possibile players who are the likely scum. from the list above of possible scum characters it seems the scum have an assassin and a recruiter. i would guess there is asymp out there and one other role, possibly sabotuer of some kind (someone mention the car incident)?

i think we must lynch though today and as long as its not someone i have targetted at night i will place a vote on them. i hope people are ignoring the merc side of this game at least until we have removed even one scum player from the game.

For now, can you summarize exactly what Barghast told you and how that doesn't mesh with what you know/the scenes have depicted, Gamelon? I couldn't quite tell from the initial readthrough...

Hmm, the combination of Gamelon's and Galain's cases have some merit. I'm not totally convinced though. I'll wait until I hear what he has to say before I slap down a vote, but I'm duly suspicious. I know he had a lover connection up until level 3 with Liosan, whether that transfers some culpability I'm not sure. Still, he's looking mighty fishy.

@Omtose, I would think 4 scum would be plenty for such a game, 1 for each faction. I like your prediction for the business woman - she tried to recruit dogtags on the first night, just like the grey-haired one. Then she did the fortress thing, then could have kidnapped the blonde woman (Gamelon I think?) straight away, once she reached level 2.

OK guys, this morning I received a plea to be taken out of the game from a player who is feeling too sick to play. I have also found a replacement player - as I mentioned in the sign-up, a mod-kill for purposes other than a rules violation would break the game, so I'm happy with this solution, unorthodox as it is. I'm confident that the new player will know what he's doing, and am happy to give him a bit of time to adjust. I'm of course not going to say who is substituting whom.

If you feel this isn't fair, please consider the alternative - screwing over an entire faction of players and thereby diminishing this game. I think from the comments I received so far that everyone is generally having too much fun to willingly press for that.
