The Spycraft game entered version 0.99 5 minutes ago. I'm happy. Spent, 'cause it is a balancing and writing nightmare, but happy. Just waiting for PB to give the OK, now. I'm soooo going to claim an advance spot on the game calender.

And seeing how 13.75 just ended and a lot of people responded to the roll-call, I'm thinking this could be a good game to test who's around and available.
So, I'm happy to run it. However, for me it just depends on how busy people made my schedule at work. I'll know that tomorrow - so if no-one steps up with a regular game between now and then, and my schedule allows for me to sit behind a pc and watch the thread, I'd love to run it, and will risk it with the 0.99.

I will definately play, but two things....

  • What is Spycraft?
  • Is knowledge necessary?
  • There will be big chunks of the day where I can't post, although I should be able to contribute vastly when I am on line...:)
Okay, that was three things....so three things

  • What is Spycraft?
  • Is knowledge necessary?
  • There will be big chunks of the day where I can't post, although I should be able to contribute vastly when I am on line...:)
  • Do I need to have to be able to count?

What? :)
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

afaik, Spycraft is only the name of a superspy roleplaying line that I partly used for ideas on abilities - the game is about spies, basically, that's why I chose the name. No knowledge of the rpg line whatsoever is required, everything that's going to be posted comes straight out of my head and that of PB.

Low/not posting at certain times is no problem at all, although I'd say having the time afterwards to catch up on what happened on thread and in your messenger while you're away is going to be vital :)

edit: also.... :doc:

Is this a promise? Am I getting special treatment? Or being the loose person you are, are you trying to tempt all into your web with this subliminal enticement?*

PS: Re your edit - well spotted you clever clogs you.:)

Who's Derren Brown? And no, it's not subliminal stuff, either... but in my games up until now, I've never put lovers into a game. I may or may not have broken with that tradition. Hence, messenger :p.

Is this going to be a total mindfuck of a game? because I want to play, but, well, I'm shit, so I might be more of a hindrance than a real player. :)

But Mappo...that's the point...besides the only way to get better is to keep playing. My first game was TMDI 1 billion or something, and it was brilliant fun.

Actually that's a lie, it wasn't my first game...in fact my first game was the very first game ever on ME...but that's a secret so don't tell anyone.

tmdi = 10+, but you've gotta start some time in the big games, no? Besides, difficult games with lots of special rules (like this one has) =/= mafia pros only. They're just different, and less about good old scumfinding and lying and cheating, generally.

Anyway, keep in mind that for now, this is unofficial, as I don't even know I have the time at work to run it :)

Mappo you did a better job than I did as I broke a cardinal rule I have for killer and that was getting pissed off. Which meant that you had to work harder to keep team scum around.

Put me down but I think I'll be a low poster.

Flush from the success of the previous game, I should very much like to play in this one...

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Hrm. Might not have the time to play... :)

I could possibly help mod, though.
