I've been viewing those forums for a while now but was about time i created a user:)

I'm right now working on Reaper's Gale after i started the malazan series about 2 months ago and they quickly made their way to my top list (if not the best) of fantasy series.

I wish I could veer into a peach... though I think D'ivers peaches would be even cooler - you could attach your many selves all over a tree and people would think it is a peach tree! Welcome Peach and boy that reading order is crazy! You will definitely need to do a re-read in written order within a couple years.

Welcome Volcan! 2 months to RG? You read fast!

lol! Crazy? >_>

I'm not, I swear. D'iver Peach. Interesting concept. o.o

Anyway, yeaaah. I don't really like rereading books. But I just might, in the future. I'm tempted to finish up Midnight Tides since I can't get HoC right now. >_>;

Lol, not from Georgia. From Puerto Rico, actually.

Hi new people... I would say run, run now whilst you still can...but it's too late, so I won't... :p
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Welcome, new peoples. Remember, if you remmember what you posted due to being sober, you'tre doing it wrong.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Howdy all. I'm fairly new to the Malazan Empire and have just finished the first two books. Inevitably, feeling dazed and confused, I stumbled across this site. Good to know I'm not alone in being dazed and confused!

IRL, my name is Darren. In most boards and fora I go by the handle Dash Rendar. I didn't think the SW reference would go down too well here!

Anyway, I live in the UK, and I like fast cars, martial arts, playing the guitar, reading sci-fi (and, more recently, fantasy... obviously), and occasional IT. But I'm not as geeky as I was when I was younger. I think life has drummed out any enthusiasm I was had to make room for apathy. Speaking of which, I can't really be bothered to go on...

Howdy Ninefingers, your cat avatar will fit in perfectly here -> see the Abyssmal Army sub-forum!

And actually, a lot of people here like SW so the reference would probably go down quite well. Just don't mention the prequel trilogy, people don't seem to like those for some mysterious reason...

As a proper fan, I was never likely to. Though I did used to read a lot of SW books when I was at Uni, all those years ago. Anyone remember the Timothy Zahn books? I quite enjoyed those.

Thanks for the welcome.

Hail. I've read every Malazan: Book of the Fallen novel that has been published so far. Waiting to read the new '09 release. Glad to be here, looks like a cool place with a lot of information and interesting people.

Just wanted to say Hi again. I haven't been around in a long time, basically since the boards crashed sometime last year. But, now that I've read Toll the Hounds, I should be back fairly often to catch up with you guys.

So, what'd I miss?
