MT took me a little while to get into at first, but ended up being a really good book. In my opinion, obviously. Some might disagree.

The Bonehunters obviously centers around the Malazan 14th army and their various escapades. It also introduces two of my favorite comedic characters. :)
Laseen did nothing wrong.

I demand Telorast & Curdle plushies.

Hello fellow Malazan lovers. I'm new, and I decided to join despite the risk of potential spoilers. I'm only on Memories of Ice and I already love Erikson more than I've loved any fantasy author... Plus I thought this forum deserves more members .

Hello Daisy!
Welcome to the Forum!
Memories of Ice is by far my favourite book in the series so I hope you really enjoy it.
The best way to avoid spoilers is to only read threads about the books you have already read. People are pretty good about using the spoiler tags and if someone accidently slips up people tend to bring it to their attention fast. So hopefully you won't encounter any spoilers.
Once again, welcome to the Forum

Welcome Shi'Gal!

If you are looking for people to discuss the series with you have come to the right place!

I know that there are a few other Italian members on the forum - I can't think of who at the moment though - but I remember them saying that it was hard to find people who had also read Erikson.

Feel free shout out if you have any questions about the Forum - there are a lot of useful links here: http://forum.malazan...p?showforum=100

I hope you enjoy being here and I look forward to seeing you/your posts around

Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.
3/4 of the way through "Toll The Hounds" and can safely say this is one of the most engrossing sagas I've ever read. I've burned through the series pretty fast so far, it is difficult to put down.

Welcome to the forum! I agree, I devoured book after book and kept looking for more. If you need any help, please feel free to ask or join us on chat. As others mentioned, stay away from the individual book threads until you finish reading that particular one, as they are FULL of spoilers.

Excellent! Welcome to the forum. You can now read threads all over the board and not have to worry about spoilers. Unless, of course, you haven't read the Esslemont novels.

Hello all. I am new to forum posting and an addicted fan of the Malazan empire. Have read the first four books twice and I am now on Bonehunters. I have grown to love this series and to realise that Steven Erikson has created my Bible. Look forward to discussing Erikson's worlds with you!

Hello, I am new to this site. I have read all 10 of Erikson's Malazan books plus “The First Collected tales of Bauchelain and Korbal Broach” and “Crack’d Pot Trail”. I have also read 2 of Esslemont's books and have just started "Orb, Scepter, Throne". Love 'em.

Hi all - finished The Crippled God a few days ago, and still reeling from the whole experience of finally wrapping up MBotF. I started little over a year ago, after seeing Steven Erikson's name pop up quite a few places on the internet, and it's been one of the most rewarding literary experiences of my life. Everything I could ever have wanted from a fantasy series, and more. I've read more than my fair share of genre - everything from Tolkien to Asimov, Donaldson, Jordan, Mieville, Vance and Cook, but this is head and shoulders above the rest. Thinking about getting into a re-read now (I've never done re-reads before, but feel that MBotF has got enough in there for at least two or three!). So, it's great to be here, surrounded by so many people who love SE and ICE's world as much as I do, and I look forward to many happy hours here exploring the different threads.
