Thanks for the welcome!
I have tried to get a few of my friends to read SE and they weren't having it. It's nice to find all of these fans and realize I'm not crazy. This is only my second time on the site and I'm very impressed with the knowledge and attention to detail. I Read the series twice and now waiting for TCG. I'm home

Not sure if I introduced myself...

Hi,

I'm ThinkingMalaz. I'm a huge fan of the MBotF and have 5 or six re-reads under my belt. I'm on here for obscure info I might've missed and some little theory talk with other malazites. Oh and I'm from the netherlands so please do forgive me for spelling or grammatical errors. Cheers

I'm on a re-read atm btw before the big finale, I'm following the ICE/SE order of reading from Tor currently just started RotCG... I'm enjoying it a lot more than the last time I read it

Hello everyone~ I'm Lemongrass Mango~
I'm relatively new to the series- as in less than a month new- but Malazan is easily one of the most enthralling series' I've ever read. It's just fantastic. Alas, I know I'm not going to finish the series in time for the final book release and I'm actually a little sad I discovered it so late in the game

Hopefully Erikson's got something else hidden up his sleeve ;D

Um, hello. I'm a shy one, predisposed to lurking on forums and sites, but this is my attempt to join in :D I'm pretty new to the fandom, and I have my brother to thank for that. When I went home to visit for Thanksgiving last year, he was very adamant that Gardens of the Moon was a book I NEEDED to read. I brought it home to California, and it sat on my shelf for about three weeks before I finally decided to undertake the task. I was VERY pleasantly surprised, as it's been several years since I took active interest in the fantasy genre, and the Malazan Book of the Fallen has been an all-consuming obsession for the last two months. Unfortunately, I'm pretty broke and I have to ration my pages  But I have 1000+ pages of the just started House of Chains to tide me over to my next Amazon shipment, yay. So anyway, that's me and my history with the series, and I humbly hope to contribute further to the forum :p

Ive never really been part of forum site, so I have no idea what to do, but after discovering this place, I had to join

Hey guys just thought I would say hi, so.....Hi!

Long time lurker and long time Malazan fan- I think I started reading the series in 2003 or so. I've just recently finished a reread of TTH and my first read of DoD, and today grabbed both RoTCG and SW so I've been on a bit of Malazan binge.

I'm not sure how much I can post as I travel quite a bit for work, but every chance I get I read these forums.

Hello everyone - I thought I'd introduce myself after perusing some of the threads on this forum for a while. I'm a huge fan of the Malazan series, although it took me a while get into it. I've read each book only once, though I'm re-reading DoD now in preparation for The Crippled God. The excerpt on the Tor website was fantastic, leaving me salivating for more.

I'm fascinated by the theory of creation and history of the various races in the series, and this seems like a great place to indulge in the idle speculation and wild guesswork that is necessary to comprehend SE's magnum opus.

Great to meet you all, and I hope to learn a lot more about the series from everyone, and hopefully contribute to discussions as well.

Dropping by to say "hello!"

I'm a newcomer to the series, having begun with GotM only a year and a half back. I picked up DG and read half the book, but found myself not invested enough in the characters to continue. I ended up putting the series aside for a year, starting over this January because of the waxing of Malazan discussion on other forums I'm a part of due to the then impending release of The Crippled God. After forcing myself to finish DG, I read MoI and was completely blown away. I've a long way to go yet, obviously, but given I've decided to commit myself to the series, I thought I'd give myself an opportunity to discuss it with the knowledgeable folks here.

Welcome Azaz! You've come to the right place, and you're in for a treat. The forums seem to be a little quiet these days - a lot of people are either reading their early copies of the Crippled God or staying away for fear of spoilers. But have no fear! It's usually a wild time around these parts.
