Even though I've been posting at this site for a while, I've just discovered this thread.

I'm JoJo, which is short for Jo Jo. I'm 60, live in Connecticut, and work as an accountant. I'm retired from the U.S. Navy, where I was a submariner.

My twin brother recommended the Malazan books to me. However, since my brother had also recommended the Thomas Covenant books to me, which I absolutely loathed, I was hesitant to read SE's books. I saw Gardens of the Moon at the local library and decided to try it. I discovered my brother's taste isn't entirely in his mouth.

Presently I'm reading Midnight Tides. I've already bought The Bonehunters and Reaper's Gale.
