Are there any good Aliens games out then? Preferably on 360.

I really haven't even bothered to look before now, as I assumed they'd be, well, a bit crap.

Are there any that actually resemble the look/feel of Aliens?
(Yes, this was prompted by the Alien 5 thread...)

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

AvP 1 and 2 on the PC are truly epic. Exactly capture the feel of the films.

As I mentioned on the other thread, a friend of mine is working on the third one coming out, so I heartily recommend you all go out and buy that one too!

See my comment in the movie thread.

There are no straight-up Alien/Aliens games, afaik. Predator: Concrete Jungle on PS2 (and I think, Xbox) was OK.
The RTS AVP:Extinction was lame.

Other than that, I too heartily endorse the AVP/AVP2 games on PC.

Dude, when the guy asked for games on the 360 I figured computer might be acceptable, and PS2/Xbox might be acceptable...but the Amiga? Dude. XD

That old side-scroller was one of the few games I ever completed at the arcade! Woo! ;)

Alien 3 on the Master System was a shocker. You had to free prisoners by jumping on/at them, and there were loads of aliens about. The game basically had nothing to do with the film.

One game springs to mind.

I can't remember it's actual name, but I think it was Alien Trilogy.

It was one of the first games to come out for the first playstation. It was a first person shooter where you played some random marine. You'd run about constantly looking at airducts and the motion detector, waiting for all hell to brake loose. If you were too slow you'd get facehugged for five seconds, a big ugly thing covering the screen, and you could bet your ass when it finally fell off a giant alien was there to rip you in half.

That game scared the living shit out of me.

The first couple of alien levels in AvP 2 are seriously cool. You play as a facehugger and chestburster (honestly, you have to actually burst out of a guy's chest!).

I'm sorely tempted to go get that game again... in fact I might have a copy here somewhere. Weekend = GONE. Shame, I was supposed to mow the lawn today :ermm:

Do eet!

AVP2 was awesome. I still have my copy. What did you think of the expansion, Primal Hunt, if you played it?
