Well there's a difference between perceiving a fake reveal by a scum to avoid a lynch 30 seconds before the timer runs out and still suggesting lynching that person a day later after everyone has logged on and no counter-reveal...

I'm saying that if we don't do something about it now, preferrably by going to night but possible by lynching Bent's likely symp or partner, we will not have any chance to catch Bent out. So we are completely relying on him telling the truth.

Your question is "what if he's the real finder?" If so, great. I don't think we lose anything by going to night or lynching Bent's likely teammates if this is the case - We don't lose a lynch, we've already lost that, and someone who might be Bent's teammate might also be guilty independently of Bent.

My question is, "What if he's lying?" Say we lynch an innocent today, and tomorrow Bent says that he's found someone guilty. It's d-day and we have to choose correctly, so there's no chance to catch Bent out.

I dont see the difference really, you seems to want to get him lynched before anybody came to there senses.
