anyhow, im on my second reading of GOTM (about 100 pages in), and must say everything is making far more sense this time around (SE puts in so many clues to things you dont get until the second reading-espcially the readings of the deck and clues to cotilion/ammamas' identity etc) I think im enjoying it more on the second reading, something no other book has made me feel!
A couple of things ive noticed:
>Gamet-the guard at Paran's house. do i presume he becomes Fist Gamet in the later books? or is it a coincidence?
>do we ever find out exactly who killed hairlock? or is it just 'a random assassin hired by tayschrenn'??
>pg 34-pigeons feeding off the dead at gerrom? Lorn seems to think this relevant, is it?
>pg 1-'vengeance chimed seven times...' what is it referring to? the hounds of shadow?
