I think this has been done before, but not for a while. What websites can you kill time being entertained and amused? Some of my favorites:

cracked.com - great short articles, either super funny or very interesting or both

fmylife.com - people send in short oneliners about horrible things going on in their life. Can be funny or sad

textsfromlastnight.com - people send in text messages they sent or received while drunk or the morning after. Hilarious. Impossible to verify if people are making them up or not, but who cares. I visit this site every day.

collegehumor.com - not a sure thing, but often has some funny stuff. Worth checking out

imdb.com - trivia, mistakes, and general info about movies and actors past and present. Interesting stuff.

damnintersting.com - articles about things that are damn interesting. Not updated very often, but the archives contain a lot of damn interesting stuff.

snopes.com - odd news and confirmation/debunking of urban and internet legends. Great for checking those stupid forwards my mom sends me

mmajunkie.com, mmaweekly.com, bloodyelbow.com - where i get most of my mma info

That's it off the top of my head. If nothing else, check out textsfromlastnight.com.

www.wwtdd.com (What would Tyler Durden Do)
www.gorillamask.com (Combination site)

That's all I've got. I'm kind of a dork and go to lots of sports sites.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

When I'm not on the ME I lurk:

http://www.reddit.com (It's where I'm getting all the articles I'm posting lately)
http://www.4chan.org (no not just /b/)
http://forum.ebaumna...display.php?f=6 (It's where I get a lot of the pictures and gifs I post)
http://forums.penny-arcade.com/ (It reminds me of ME only the forum memberpool is huge and more edgy)

www.canitapthat.com

Great site. The premise is people text other people the question "can I tap that ass?" They then post the resulting conversation of this site. Good fun.
