Scummy play though, regardless of whether the person (by that I mean the voter) is inno or not. At least give a body a chance to defend themselves. Don't get me wrong I voted for him, but by that time there wasn't a whole bundle of options. W/e, it's just another brick wall.
Well, the first 4 people that voted Barg were Sorrit, Karat, Emur and Sil, in that order (for some reason the final train from P-S has Emur out of order). Apparently whoever did the killing thought it was scummy, too, since half of them are dead.

Well, it is getting late, so I am off.
I see Eloth has arrived to the party without any clothes on, but deciphering his posts can wait for tomorrow.

I'm up, at work, and caught up. :<
2 dead scum is heavy.
vote Karatallid
because he led the barghast train, and was willing to vote off either him or myself for placing a vote on Emurlahn, who turned out scum.

wow. Didn't see that coming. +mega rep to Sil for pegging scum with quotes on day 1. However, I think that pretty much runs us out of day one suspicions. Aside from the overreactions of Game and Kara we have little to no info based on last nights kills, or the lynch. I guess the only good thing to say about our situation is that with 2 killers gone, we have a little more breathing room.

I wouldn't say we have nothing to wok with.
there's the Barghast train.
Keeping in mind that Barghast was voting for a known scum, and that was the reason he got lynched, that train surely desrves some attention.

odd, where did the double post come from?
anyhow, here's a look at the Barghast train:
then, after much talking about Barghast, vote number 2:
also, I totally disagree with the "people are less sheeple on Day 1" idea--in my experience, many people are more cagey day 1, because they don't want to be a random lynch, so they'll vote for any train to not die themselves.
anyhow, here's a look at the Barghast train:

Im leaving in the next 20 min. wont be around at deadline.
Im definitley liking the idea of taking a new apraoch to day one.
I think, as previously stated we should go for some one who was both very friendly and smooth, coupled with willing to vote for one of these rubbish cases today.
for my money that would have to be either Barghast or Karosis.
Out of those two i prefer bargy
Vote Barghast
As tempting it is t go for the "leader of the pack" Silanah today. I cant in good faith vote off a player purely for trying to get the game going, at least thats the way i see his play today.

anyhow, since i'm the only one here, continuing the Barghast train:

then Sianah:
and here comes vote number 5, after which the train swells up:

@Korlat: I feel there's a difference between one person trying to push the game forward in one direction (with 2 people hopping on with little to no additional discussion) and a group of people discussing possible lynches.
I'm going to bed soon, and it doesn't seem like anyone else is willing to lynch Silanah right now. It would admittedly be lame to lynch someone just for trying to get a game going, but IGMEOY. Barghast and Karosis both seem like viable lynches to me--hell, if this new tactic doesn't work it's nothing worse than the usual--although Karosis's random quoting of Silanah in his first post really catches my eye. Almost seems like trying to fake-symp, in fact. (Assuming it's fake since the mechanics suggest there's no symps).
However, I don't think there's enough time to pull up another 9 votes on Karosis. So...

I can see the case against Barghast, and don't think a change in tactic is a bad idea, but I do NOT like the way the train built up on him after he said he was off until after day times out. That said, there isn't another viable lynch and I will be back later but not before night times out.

I'm not happy about doing so, but don't see that I have much choice.
Edit: Said night when I meant day.

Just so you all know this is purely a vote for the sack of a lynch. I haven't seen anything overtly suspicious in Barghast posts myself. But unfortunately I have not been paying as much attention as I do normally so I do not have any strong suspects myself.

I agree with the last part of that statement, Karosis. I think that day one people are worried about surviving, it's why mistakes and missteps are stomped down on generally, because those are actions out of the 'norm.'
I'll be honest though, the stepping outside the norm to try to lynch someone different nearly succeeded, if the train on Emurlahn hadn't have been side-stepped. That's pretty encouraging.
Edit: x post.

honestly, I don't like Karatallid's play.
the case on Emu wasn't strong, but no Day 1 case can be.
I think he was too agressive in disproving it.
I don't know how much i'll be around today, there are several meetings in my schedule.
my vote will in all likelyhood stay on Karat today, barring something extraordinary.

I don't know, I can understand this mindset, but this was only the 4th vote on the train. I think there were what, 2:30 hours left to vote, a little early maybe?

Lol. Well, it has nothing to do with that. I've been poor Fener before. Felt like the Sword of Damocles the entire time. Yes I was scum and got smoked.
My point was, I think Fener was around for a while after that vote, as opposed to the next couple who were supposedly leaving and not going to be back or the ones who just jumped on at the end to get a lynch. His vote fell in that soft middle part of the train.
