Mafia 48: The Lies of Locke Lamora Motherfu--

Yeah, the Don and his wife. The Spider is the city's spymaster.
We know nothing about Sabetha, other than she was once Locke's lover and a GB.
Chains is a possibility.... but a low one.
I'm guessing maybe just a random thug for the Spymaster or Barsavi faction.

I got freaking called away for a while at work. Had to get some stuff done and left a lingering joke vote, so sorry about that.

Okay then, here's the opening scene with stuff that may be useful bolded (no info in scenes, right? haha)
As summer creeps into Camorr, sundry forces find themselves gathering at a single event. Its participants shall be the city's most dangerous; its events shall be of significant portent. The very foundations of the city shall be rewritten--thus is its importance.
Capa Barsavi is throwing a party--or "fiesta", as some foreigners call it.
It is, after all,Nazca's Sweet 16 an enormous masquerade.
The city's most influential figures have gathered. The Capa himself, along with his minions and children. Enterprising con-man Locke Lamora and his Gentleman Bastards have arrived in search of a gullible noble or two. The Spider herself has joined to monitor the Capa's affairs.
But as the anonymous--or not so anonymous--chatter continues, as the music grows louder and the participants drunker...
Another guest arrives. The Gray King has returned, much like Annyong, to exact vengeance for theFrozen Banana Stand Secret Peace brokerage.
None of the other guests are aware of his presence--that is, until The Gray King attempts to blackmail Locke into his service.
And Locke, instead of bending over and taking it, elects the more violent path.
And Capa Barsavi, infuriated The Spider has crashed his party, tears up the Secret Peace.
And The Spider, determined to stop The Gentleman Bastards and their scams, kills a kitten that looks somewhat like Locke.
And The Gray King himself, well, he's out for blood...
So the opening scene says the Capa, along with his "minions and children." So if the other people named Basarvi are his children, could be a 5th non-family helper. It could also be read in a way that makes it seem like the minions ARE the children, so it's a push on that one.
Who or what is Annyong?

I think that's Sixty's dramatic flair. The name Annyong rings absolutely no bells in my head.

It is possible the last character would be linked to the GB, but I doubt it. And I would expect them to people who were around at the time of the book.
Random thug is possible. Or some minor character who I have forgotten in the year or so since I read the book. I'm sure there's a couple.
Edit - kind spoiler, but two books later we STILL no nothing about Sabetha, so I seriously doubt she features.

Well, it appears I made it back in time to be in the middle of a discussion about characters and roles, which I can't really add much to, since I am unfamiliar with the text. If you guys need any more info about Arrested Development, however, I'm all over that. Frozen bananas FTW.
I'll linger for a bit longer, but then I won't be back before night, and I don't feel there's enough info to put down a real vote.

Wow like 9.5 hours left, really? Bad day 1.
Post count shows everyone has checked in except D'riss, although HP and Karat are at one post (and Eloth at two).

Hah, both had their first posts around the same time as me (okay, within an hour, but nobody else was talking at the time).
One a spam-reply to spam, the other a useless post that is never followed up on. It's merc and neither one is my leader so, eeny-meany-miney-moe.
Vote Hood's Path
Because inactive posters can easily skirt to the end of the game in merc with enough symps around (see the previous merc game on Deepgate for several examples). And because H comes before K in the alphabet.

Logged in to say much the same as Amp. Thier is a slight chance I could get back on before day times out, but not much. I should be much more active tomorrow though after about 6-8 hours into the new day would time out.
I can hang around for a bit longer, only wish I could add something to the team distribution stuff, but I'm pretty ignorant on the book tbh.
I thought we had a bit longer than 9 hours left, but tbh that doesn't really help me to much.

Fucked up times, but go!
As guests begin to arrive, they gather about a sign posted at the party's center:

Welcome to my party."

It depends what P-S means about fucked up times, becuase days are 36 hours so we should have a bit longer than 10 GMT even, but still doesn't help me unless I can sneak on for 5 whilst the boss isn't looking.

going to bed soon, am unlikely to get behind a pc and cach up before deadline.
Vote Hood's Path
Because few posts make it harder to slip and low content ones make it easy to hide, and if you want one thing in a merc game, it is a sense where someone fits in, and low posting avoids either.
I wouldn't be horribly disturbed if there was going to be no lynch, though, but not enough to forego the chance to build a train by voting for a different one poster.
I for one am curious (in a somewhat nervous way seeing how sixty promised a high body count) as to what happens come the night, seeing how there's these mysterious Spy & Steal abilities.
edited for sentence construction & punctuation. Yes, punctuation.
