Oh, and to clarify:

PB. That reveal was awful. :( There isn't even an avatar of the Crooked Warden in the book.

Thing is, I think PB was the only living player who would know this.

The reveal wasn't bad it was the win conditions that drove me nuts. I was pounding my head against the desk after I read it. :(
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

True, I was thinking, how the hell is he going to pull that off. I was thinking, okay, if we can save him it'll be by showing that his win doesn't override any other faction's. Of course, by that time Kara had voted and disappeared, so it was a moot point.

Damn, Breadmaster (Amp), and here I thought you were a healer the whole game!

Yeah, sorry about that.

But about your messages, I don't follow the logic. If you can send messages before the game starts, I don't see how someone else sending messages before the game starts is precluded.

It would have been so easy to just have coded yourself, as well. Especially day one when you were sure no one could have spied the first message. Seriously, I had no reason to trust you, man.

I knew it, but I was hardly about to contradict him...
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Yeah well, I didn't think about that until after the first one...

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Bullshit, you git. OBVIOUSLY there is no avatar, but there IS a Crooked Warden that is 'worshipped.' You put in roleless thugs, not hard to imagine you would put in a role that had no faction and then not announce it so that people aren't hunting it down wondering what it is. All I had to do was think what a god's avatar might want to do in Camorr and how it could be BP and tada, I sold it to one person (almost Bargie too) and that's all that counts.

Well done PB et al. Especially Bwgan and Tapper, since if you hadnt outed me the GB had a good chance of taking it.

Cheers mate. I was worried GB was going to run away with it for a while there.

Ya, thought GB had a solid block there, with noone dead. And then what, 3 lynches in a row? that was rather epic :(

So, what's next?

Good job team Barsavi! :( First to post, first to die! Lol.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

But your brilliant Heal on the first night helped sow confusion amongst our enemies! :(

As a healer, not only did I last past night 1 (only by healing myself btw, that's like Fener alt), I also caused massive confusion. I must say, second to having pedobear messaged on thread, this is my crowning achievement in Mafia. :(

Looking the whole thing over, I'd say we were the one faction that didn't step on each others toes. We never lynched one of our own and the only time a NA would have hurt our own when bwgan wanted to kill m45, she didn't have the kill and was guarded anyway. GB had an issue and blocked its own member once (although killed the same target, coulda had two different kills) and the late reveal business hurt them. GK didn't even trust its leader's messages. And Spider, well, they had their own issues.

So overall, nobody was perfect, I slipped twice for sure and we had a few why-is-he-doing-that type moments with each other, but in the end, our size and cohesion was enough to win the game.

It was a good win and good game. Most enjoyable and now the biggest plus for me is that it is over by the weekend. :(
