I wiki'ed him because my first response was 'no one could have chosen to be his family', but I was incorrect.

Quarantine yourself, quick. I bet that Wiki has all sorts of ridiculous philosophical germs.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

It was actually very factual and not philisophical.

Did you get kicked in the face and receive a concussion? How could the SoTards leave it at facts, and not muddy the water with fun philosophical chicken devilry?

They were gloating about how high his books rank on the bestseller list, and left the actual factual information alone.

Richard would never gloat. Wizard's Rule #10982.

The correlation is WR #10982[B] "Unless having kicked a child in the face or having won a rugby/Gaelic football/whatever the hell that thing is game."

Not true.

The actual rule is 'Wizards never gloat unless they just did something that would be considered evil but they are good so they can do no evil, then they gloat.'

That was actually... not that bad... *shudders saying that*

If that was a TV series I'd watch it. Not exactly amazing acting, but good opening and somewhat tolerable fight scenes. Loved the knfe to the skull bit.

Is it just me or was there actual humor in that clip? Humor... in a Goodkind book?

*Jaw drops open*

I would think he would at least make some attempt to change the names. Alex Rahl? who is he kidding?
Question:

Does being the only sane person in the world make you insane?

If a tree falls in the woods and a deaf person saw it, does it make a sound?
