Ok, these things are generally a bit crap, but I quite enjoyed this one.

http://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/which-fan...-writer-are-you

My results are below (I got Philip Pullman, which was a little surprising, even though I've never read his books. I'll get round to them one day!) At least it wasn't Goodkind

http://www.helloquizzy.com/results/which-f...;var_Cynical=17

I wanted more highbrow :p

edit - oh, and my exact opposite is apparently Tolkien. Which is kind of cool.

I honestly think that this test is a bit stupid but anyway I've scored as C.S Lewis and my opposite is Ursula K Le Guin. The good thing is that I'm more Experimental than Traditional , although this didn't surprise me much

I'm Micheal Moorcock. My opposite is Katharine Kerr. I've never read any of hers before. I have read three Elric novels, and I have four graphic comics of Elric stories. So I'm ok with this.

I too scored as C.S Lewis, and my highest score was on Violence!

Congratulations! You are Low-Brow, Violent, Experimental and Romantic!

Apparently I'm Low-Brow, Violent, Experimental, and Cynical--Lian Hearn...oddly enough, I've never heard of the name. =/

It started asking for my e-mail after I finished the test so I cancelled it.

Huh, same as Yellow.

I'm like Pullman. I'm not like Tolkien.

I've never read Pullman, but I saw that movie with the talking bears that fight. :p

You don't need to enter an email at all. Instead of going to the very last page, just click on the "give me the results, motherfucker" button instead.

I got Orson Scott Card... :p

Is that good or bad? I often find myself reading a lot of advice given by Orson Scott Card, but I've never read his actual books. So I don't know if his advice is just gobshite or what :p

I dunno, I guess it's not so bad...I just didn't expect I'd get him :p His books are alright - a little trite - but alright. Maybe worth a read, but they're not all that memorable in my opinion.

Seems like I've put off pullman to long...gotto check up where to begin reading :)

C.S. Lewis. Violent and Experimental. Just like i like my women. Zing!

But seriously, when i think Violence the first author that comes to mind isnt C.S. Lewis. The violence in his books isnt very, well, violent.

:p

I got Ursula Le Guin.
Also very similar to Susan Cooper
Opposite to CS Lewis.

All of which I am delighted with :p

You are High-Brow, Peaceful, Traditional and Cynical!

Highest score was Cynical, joint with Peaceful (19, -19).
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

IADMAITTQIS :p

This quiz clearly has no inbuilt intelligence, discretion or taste. :) :p
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Same here on all counts.

I did the Character Actor Quiz on the same sight and got 19 out of 20.

Which got me Danny Treijo.

:) OMG, no, it wasn't that bad, but it called me...ahem...I can hardly bring myself to say it... :p...low brow, which is annoying as I did another test and I am an English Genius! (That's more like it!)

"You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!"

A much better and more sensible test. :p http://helloquizzy.okcupid.com/tests/the-c...used-words-test
