That sounds good to me TT, it seems like you've got most of people's requests in there. You're turning out to be quite the commissioner here for never having done this. Good job TT!

I agree with the QB interception, but not the TD due to the balance - 6pts per passing TD I think is too much, QBs would end up scoring loads even on an average performance - even 150yds and 2 TDs would fetch 18pts, which is a bit much really. Im open to maybe increasing a passing TD to 5 and interceptions to -2, what does everyone think about that?

Put me down for a "nay" on ppr.

Also, on point: Here's the philosophical question. QB's dominate the actual game. RB's dominate fantasy. Giving QB's 6 per pass TD results in a league that is less dominated by the running backs, and where you'll see QB's taken in the first round (Manning, Brady, Brees), as opposed to 14 running backs. That creates a bit more of a debate pre-draft on what to do with the first 3 rounds than normal. I could go either way, but like the 6 pt touchdown.

However, the INT needs to be -2 points no matter what the QB TD point. You punish running backs for fumbles (-2) and QB's for ints (-2) because they are so damaging to their actual team.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Hmmmm. I think 3's too low and 6 is too high. Maybe 4 or 5.

Definitely -2 on int.

If theres not a consensus TT, just pick what you want and we'll adjust.

You give QB and every one 6 bloody points for a TD cause that is how much they are worth... RB's and WRs get 6 points for td's... The friggen Defense gets 6 points for td's... If someone gets a good QB (Manning or Brady during record years then they are going to go deep into the playoffs) that is how it is. To do otherwise is not fair. Yes the running back has to pound the ball up so should he get more points for a TD then a QB who has to stand in the pocket and put the ball in to someone hands NO. Why cause there will always be RB's who's only job is when their team gets up to the 1 yard line they pound it in. If you have that guy (The Bus) then all he is going to do is put up 12 to 18 points a game. Is that fair no But tough shit it is football. A friggin TD is worth 6 points. Who cares if lots of points get scored everyone will have a chance to score them. It is fun to score points. It is more fun when teams are putting up 100+ games and playing against other teams that are doing the same. Then when teams are only putting up 60+ points.

Sorry for the rant I have had this same conversation in several leagues....

Also interception is -2... It is a fact

I'm signed up - Southside Slums. I don't care how it's scored. I'd really prefer an autodraft rather than an actual on-the-boards draft, but it's not my call. It just seems such a colossal pain in the ass...

But this is your party, TT. Just let me know when we're picking and when it's my turn to pick.

6 for a TD across the board and -2 for any interception / fumble imo

6 TD/ -2 INT

Return points at 1/25 yds is okay I guess.

Okay. Now either I can't count (this is a valid option considering adventures in math on the GRE) or we only have 13 people signed up. I'm looking squarely in Sixty's direction. If I am wrong and it is someone else, I was looking at what was behind you, Sixty.

I'm glad you edited that. I still have no idea what that first line is about though, friend.

Its one of those stupid things when you watch a movie and your drunk off your ass and somethign seems really funny and for some reason you remember it forever and then watch it again later and realize its not funny. Weekend at Bernies 2.

And that last glass of whiskey might have pushed me past the making sense phase anyway.

Soooooo. 60 needs to sign up!

I'm not sure which is funnier: You referencing Weekend at Bernies 2 or me passing out naked on the couch with the shower on for about 6 hours.

I would say that you going to see it in the theater is worse than the other two combined.

The second part of that mitigates the fact that you still went to go see Weekend at Bernies 2 some.

HEAD! MOVE!
