I went a bit off the books here, and made something a bit more unconventional. I hope you like it :)

Some part of the world
These are the pale deaths which
Men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear
To witness any longer

I really like it. The facial expression and especially the eyes are suitably creepy, and the multi-jointing on the arms is quite cool. The claws sometimes seem a bit out of place to me, but they also really make her look deadly, too. Bravo!

James -> Supposedly they have a 'bifurcated' chest, but no one knows what that means so, meh.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Thank you! :)

Yeah, they have some sort of hinge across their bifurcated chests, but I couldn't picture it properly, so I left it out:)

Great, creepy was exactly what I was going for!

I blame the claws on the newest issue of Imagine FX, they had some really wicked paintings in there :D

I'm glad you like it:)

It's not exactly how I pictured them, I didn't expect so much definition in terms of muscle and whatnot, I see a more languid, fluid, smooth skinned kind of body. Of course, it's all open to interpretation. I love what you did with the extra joints in the arm, they look like they belong, and are correct in how they function. Overall, great effin job as always, just not my particular view.

Edit: The whole alien, creepy look you have going on is spot on mate haha. It's so... strange and weird :)

Yeah, I also pictured them more fluid and smooth, but i like this as well. Its a great picture, I love the fricken hair, its very detailed - you can see each strand - and it pops out. I always have trouble with hair. Nice job.

I love the face, especially the eyes. Looks human enough to be disturbingly inhuman... if that makes sense :) Good job anyway! :)

Nice pic Grim, the eyes are suitably detatched and inhuman, sort of questioning " do you need me to bring peace to your life...." :)

I don't know why but i've always imagined the FA to resemble a taller white version of the classic "grey" type of alien, with hair :)

Who knows as SE has been less than forthcoming with details about the FA :)

Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

Yeah, I know what you mean. They are decribed as thin, gaunt creatures with oddly loos movements. I just felt like doing something abit different.

Cool, I'm glad you like them :) What about the extra leg-joints?

I'm immensley satisfied with the hair, it turned out just the way I wanted it. Usually it ends up looking straw :p I'm glad you like it!

Wow, this attests to your picture in the fact that I didn't notice the extra leg joints. It looks pretty damn natural and smooth to me. I mean damn, I just looked at the legs and realized it, it seems so... right. Awesome stuff :killingme:
I still heart Goodkind.

haha, that's so cool :)

I was trying to make them look as natural as possible, like you look at them and think "nice legs", and then you go "wait just a minute..." :)
