RE: gam's slip. early in Day 1, he mentioned D'rek's name, whilst talking about a list of important characters compiled by Korlat.
thus, I have assumed that he was paired with Korlat. and since korlat was Carnival--a lone-wolf type slightly mental killing machine, it made no sense for him to be cult.

yesterday Gamelon (allegedly) believed his faction was in almost majority.
meaning, either 5 or 6 people, including the dead fener.

as for why I believed Gam: when Fener CF-ed as "the mesmerist", I found it odd that we didn't get a character's name for once. this led me to believe he may have actually been recruited.
since then, people have pointed out that in that case we'd likely have been givenCF of "a mesmerist" were he a lowly recruit.

Sorry, I've been catching up.

While a cult with an inherited recruiting ability seems rather overpowered for a merc game (you've got to keep the factions balanced, right?), the flimsiness of Gamelon's defending implies to me that he thought they must be nearing a majority and just needed to get near/over the line, meaning there are probably still quite a few cult out there. So yeah, Gamelon could be a Heshette tribesman, but I find that very unlikely. If he saw Fener bullshitting, he could quite easily have come up with some more stuff to add to the story for verisimilitude. Also with hindsight, that tantrum he pulled last night felt very contrived. So I think it's a pretty good bet that Gamelon is cult, and as such we should get rid of him.

Well, I guess I can remove if you'd like. We do have quite a bit more time...but this one I'm convinced by, so I don't feel the need to hold my vote on.

On the balcony of the airship, the Heshette cornered Gamelon.
"He supported the Mesmerist, let's kill him!"
"No, please, it's all a misunderstanding! How could I know Fener was a mesmerist? He had a turban and a horse and everything!"
Silence descended over the group as the god Cospinol emerged on the balcony of the airship. He was wrapped in dark cloth and his face was mostly hidden, but a quick glimpse gave the impression of the facial features of a fugitive smuggler in clear and present danger. Slow, guttural words emerged hoarsely from the shadowed visage within the hood.
"He is the one. Get rid of him."
The Heshette tribesmen turned on Gamelon. "We trusted you!"
"So will the next god!" cried Gamelon as he dodged lithely past the tribesmen and raced towards the front of the aircraft. As he pulled out a flaming knife to puncture the balloon, Cospinol yanked the tether tying the ship to John Anchor and in one motion looped it around Gamelon's neck. It drew taught a moment later, yanking Gamelon off the ship to hang, choking, in mid-air and flailing his arms uselessly.
Cospinol lifted a single finger.
"GET OFF MY PLANE!"
The writhing figure's head exploded in a cloud of ash, while the rest of his body dropped into the abyss far, far below.


Gamelon (Sixty) is dead. He was the Mesmerist.

(There is no info in the scenes, except that I like ripping off Harrison Ford movies)
