But following my logic, let's assume cult has recruited someone all 3 nights, they started with just a recruiter, and none of the recruits have died. That means 4 cult players alive out of 12. We lynch wrong today, someone else gets recruited, and we revert to our night 1 & 2 pattern of no nk's. That makes 5 cult and 6 non-cult. Which gives them a massive majority (unless 1 faction is still fairly intact, which would be unusual to say the least) and makes tomorrow d-day.
That's our WCS at this point. Or, even worse, someone non-cult gets nk'ed and cult wins.

Not really, it would be if we got a full CF, but we don't. So if we play like you are suggesting, every day is D-day, and we don't do anything but vote off likely cult, which would have to include our own faction mates, and risk losing that way. My way, involves watching for one, but if oportunity presents itself to lynch the leader of a faction that is not mine, I will take that any day of the week, over leaving him alive and risk my own team mate getting lynched as a possible cult recruit.
Either way it feels like you're fairly obstinate on lynching fener when the only "evidence" you have isn't very solid...that is, the 2 days he wasn't lynched. And now when you've yet to comment on my Tennes case, you're also convinced that I'm defending him (which I guess I am, although it's a byproduct not my intention).

But your "case" on him was that he's not contributing. You left out Telas completely (and yes you explained that), and now hes contributed a fair amount in his arguments with you (and his agreeing with me, why would I attack him, if his gaols run parralell with mine), and your vote is still there. So you have the tunnel vision in my eyes, and you are the one with the weak case, in my eyes. So I win, off to the movies now.

This is starting to get frustrating. The extent of his "contribution" in his argument with me provided absolutely nothing about Fener's posts whatsoever. AFAIK he didn't even make a comment about his no-lynch on days 2 and 3 (although I may be wrong). In fact, the most he's done is some attack on me in his self-defense. I've also explained the reason for my vote on him. It was originally intended to just place pressure, but I didn't like his response so it stays.
Korvalain said he'd compile a case/analysis on Meanas, and were it stronger than my case (and therefore stronger than yours, in my opinion if not yours) then I'd switch.
But have fun at your movie.

edit: grammers. my retard factor is increasing at a steady rate...

About to go to bed, but:
His play, I think, suits a weak role (heshette tribesman) better than something stronger like a leader. It'd take some major balls to be as active/out-there as he has, leader-based-support or not. The reveal coincides with both that and my initial read on him.
And to clarify, my argument with Tennes was less over his lack of contribution than his attack of fener. Part of my attack against him is that he voted Fener from what appeared to be solely his willingness to supply information about the book.
G'night.

With Hood's Path, there is obviously going to be differences between the first half of his posts (pre-weekend) and the latter half (post-weekend). But I notice that in pretty much every single contentful post since he got back he has been talking about the cult. He does seem very single minded in that respect. Also, I have an automatic suspicion of people complaining like this:
oh...
so the names are pointless for discovering if someone is cult?
How can you make a cult game like this lish veryangry.gif
Cult always bloody wins...now its near impossible for them to lose!
bah...BAH i tell ya
Complaints like this tend to get expressed in PMs to Spoilers more than in thread. So whenever I see something like this, it feels like the player is trying to prove something about their mindset - in this case, that Hood's Path is trying very hard to be diligent in hunting the Cult at every turn. It feels like he's trying a bit hard in that respect...
Rashan's Day 1 case on Hood's Path was kind of weak, and by addressing it HP dealt with the case's major focus point: him being too agreeable. Still, there was only one person who really commented on the case at all that I could find were Korlat and Emurlahn. Everyone else seems to have just ignored it as far as I can tell...somewhat strange, given that Day 1 is really a scramble for cases with even a shred of plausibility behind them.
So, there's not much there, I guess, but I still feel a little nervous about him for the reasons stated above. Not enough to toss a vote down for, but I still have this niggling suspicion that could have been recruited over the weekend and since then has tried to blend in by focusing on the cult as much as possible.

sigh
I'm sure I've mentioned earlier, my time's limited today and tomorrow--I'm out of town, attending my graduation. Hence i can't contribute much these days, As i only post in brief moments when im in the hotel with my laptop.
I'm not trying to deflect attention from Fener--God Knows, some of you won't rest till he's lynched.
Also, i said that Game made a HUGE slip a while ago, letting most people figure out his allegiance. and it ain't cult. So, that'd be why I'm agreeing with him for now.
I have to take another look at Meanas' posts to figure out what was bothering me about him. might not have the time to do that and build a case till tomorrow evening, though.
I'll take a look at the thread in the morning, before I head out, and if there's nothing better out there, I'll vote fener. he ain't on my team, and I'm willing to get rid of him if that means the rest of people will start looking elsewhere.
but for now, I really need sleep.

Ok FFS, obviously my argument on Fener is absolute shit, since everyone is treating it as such. Gamelon even talks in a general fashion about 'the case on fener' as being Rashan's weak argument without referring to a single thing I said (i.e., what I said isn't even worth considering). The only person not to ignore my posts outright is fener himself.
So fuck it, if Fener is cult then we deserve to get smoked by him.
I'll look to put my vote somewhere else.

Catching up... found this little tidbit
Hey, go ahead with the pressure vote, I don't mind. In fact, it gives me tons of information.
Edit: just to add: I've been pretty clear about the fact that I've been busy, and if that makes me a target, then so be it.
Gives you tons of information?....This would only be true of you are a leader?

Well...I was just venting.
I hadnt realised till this point that we would get no info from the names given.
I was under the impression that the names PS was suplying actually had some sort of info attached to it.

This would only make sense if the majority of players were cult already and they were ignoring rashans case.
As you should know cult would have had most likely only 2 players on day one...so this point is nonesense.

Huh?
Im not sure what you are saying here, first you start off your little "case" saying i am focusing on the cult allot.
Now at the end you say i am trying to "blend in" by focussing on the cult as much as possible? Thats would imply that everyone else is focussing on the cult to?...so why am i different?
Also you will notice i talk about the cult before the weekend too...in fact i was the first person to bring it up. So your going in circles here.
Now i think it should be pretty obvious why i am focussing on the cult...Because they are the single biggest threat to my faction.
They are the single biggest threat to EVERY faction actually.
On top of that now we will never know if we hit cult and its makes them so much more dangerous.
So...Let me see?...you want us to NOT focus on the cult? Rather focus more on eliminating other factions?...I wonder why?
Which factions shall we focuss on? ....hmmmm?...pray tell?
