Ok Tennes this is getting annoying. You have almost no posts, suggesting you're coasting, and since you've come back you've made 3-4 posts that do nothing but complain about how we're trying to read into character names for ideas about potential allegiances. Absolutely nothing regarding the game itself.

I'm out for a bit...I'll drop a vote to put some pressure until he actually contributes something.

vote Tennes

Haha, can you be more obvious?

Hey, I'm finally able to be on and comment on your crazy stuff, and now I'm suddenly coasting - that's just nice, real nice. I had an opinion on the book obsession, and Fener asked about it, and I clarified. You can't seriously mean that is complaining - it's called playing the game, in case you forgot. :)

I still think it's dangerous to believe anything anyone says about the books implicitly, unless you can read it yourself. I'd chalk down the incessant book discussion to spam, if I wasn't afraid you'd smack me in the face. Oooh, I'm sooo scaaared.

well, there can't be any doubt that you've been the most useless player so far, but whatever you tell yourself :)

last thing I want to see is another lynchless day. we need to move this game forward.

remove vote
vote Kessobahn

and with that, i'm off to bed. Hopefully, this lets us get a lynch today.

Emur comments on it

Wait, what?

Four hours left, one player with four votes and two with two votes? How the hell does voting for Kesso help us get a lynch, Liosan? :)

Fener answers for Liosan

the theory I guess is that since so few seem willing to go for Korlat, shifting the vote to Kessobahn might result in a lynch. I'm not averse to either as I've stated and I'll be online, albeit somewhat eraticly seeing that I'm at work, so I can change my vote as necessary up to the end of the day

Ruse drops by and never mentions Fener, and throws on a train vote number 3

View PostRuse, on Jun 9 2009, 03:25 AM, said:

Here only briefly I'm afraid.

vote Kessobahn

for the reasons I gave before, and because the vote on Korlat seems to have stalled.

Hoods path drops one,Korv agrees that HP's scenario of win win is a good reason, Driss drops by with no time left, casts L-1 and Emur swaps to give the hammer

Thats it. Now next day, no one seems to think Fener is a good lynch, curious that.

Tennes, this was your first post today. In the 3 and a half hours since, none of your posts have even commented on the validity of a case. And you have absolutely zero justification behind your vote--not even a half-assed sheep justification, but just a vote. Unless you're voting him for knowing what happens in the book? Now that's hilarious.

I have a great justification for my vote, namely you jumping on me for not taking what Fener is saying at face value. It's obvious you are on Fener's team, and I think it pretty much validates everything else that has been said about Fener possibly being a cult leader. I was just giving my opinion on the book speculation for fucks sake!

Besides, the fact that he seems to expect everyone to just take what he says about the books at face value is a great reason to vote for him anyway.

Yes, impossible to lynch indeed. day 2 was a fuck up of inactivity and day 3 Kessobahn became a better option. Has it not occured to you that the only reason I'm a good target is because no one can be bothered looking elsewhere. When a better target turned up, people went there.

I find it somewhat odd that you can afford to go so focused on me, not deigning to notice anyone else in this game. How is it that you can afford that, hm?

Why couldn't i afford to try and get you lynched, you revealed your faction, I know your not on my team, and based on the difficulties to get you lynced, I surmise you must be the leader of that faction, else your team would throw you to the wolves.

And the Bueler thing was based on a movie, Ferris Buellers day off, grow a sense of humor.

So you're essentially anchoring your case on:
1.) Fener revealed as Heshette Tribesman, which you don't think is in your faction (how can you be so sure?)
2.) Fener hasn't been lynched yet, when the first time was over a dead weekend and the second was when a more plausible target arose?

Seems a little...insubstantial to me. Tunnel vision = bad.

1. Read the post Game, I am assuming he is the leader of a faction. He is not my leader, so hes not in my faction
2. No way you seriously think its a coincidence that no one hammered Fener and he survived, and the train switched and he survived, and look, now that he has more votes again, people are still unsure. Bullshit, its not tunnel vision to assume the person you try ro lynch and doesn't die is important to his faction. And the only way they would know that was if he was their leader.

Im going to go back and see who started the train down the path away from Fener yesterday, back in a minute

Then as a result your case is anchored around the assumption that he's a leader, which I'm personally fairly sure he is not given that I believe his reveal. I think it makes sense that day timed out over a weekend where almost no one posted, yes. And in my mind the last lynch, which got switched to Kesso for a reasonable case IMO, doesn't exactly convict him as a leader now does it?

edit: grammers

I brought up your complete lack of contribution right after night ended...before you said anything to Fener. I brought it up here:

This is Tennes' last post. Logged on, reread, and didn't bother to even post a quick analysis/opinion...he just disappeared.

and I left about 15 minutes later. You showed up over half an hour afterward, completely ignored my post questioning your inactivity/coasting/lack of contribution, then proceeded to rail into Fener, who just happens to remain the most talked-about potential lynch. Fancy that!

I did not ignore you, gamelon, I answered your accusation, which btw is ridiculous. You have to be around to be coasting, and I haven't been around.

Edit: so giving my opinion on the book speculation is railing eh? I disagree.

Because I think we'll lynch wrong and give the cult another night to recruit. And if they've been successful every night, we're approaching d-day (tomorrow I think for wcs)...

edit: and please, answer my question.

Since I made that first question about why you (Tennes) claimed to be rereading then made no comments, you've made the following posts:

First my accusation:

This is Tennes' last post. Logged on, reread, and didn't bother to even post a quick analysis/opinion...he just disappeared.

Followed by your response:

half a page hardly strikes me as an obsession.

Granted it just now started to be obsessive, but it has gone on for quite some time. Is it just me or is this trust in someone that supposedly knows what happens in the books dangerous? For anyone that haven't read the books it's hard to check anything you say for instance. You would believe that the few people having read the books would be honest about what is going on, but first, some stuff might be subjective and secondly, some stuff might not be applicable to this game at all.

Anything beyond the general structure of the characters I think should be considered non-info. That's what I mean by obsessing.

Edit: forgot a word

Then I accuse you again:

Hey, I'm finally able to be on and comment on your crazy stuff, and now I'm suddenly coasting - that's just nice, real nice. The point, to sum it up, is that:

You IGNORED my first accusation about your inactivity (less about not posting a lot during the weekend, but about claiming to be reading then doing nothing to comment/contribute), then proceeded to laugh off my second accusation and try to deflect it into a me-symping-fener deal when it's entirely a gamelon-is-pissed-at-lurkers deal.
