One flaw in my case Ruse, I missed your vote for Fener. But in effect that strengthens my case that you were recruited because you couldn't vote him afterwards. Time to play the hand we are delt, you are the possible recruit and I say that the recruiter is dead. Otherwise it would be game over already. with the recruits and recruiter combined to have a voting block. They haven't or at least its not co-ordinated by a lead recruiter, so I can go out on a limb and say, we get rid of you and Telas, then we can worry about factions.

book-wise, Alice is an ambiguos character. She's an engineer working for Menoa, true, which kind of makes her evil. but, she's not really doing it of her free will, which makes it more complicated.

As for meanas... you know, he may have been lying about guarding, he may not have, it's hard to tell.

Trench could be a guard, but bookwise he was a warrior.

Ive been trying for 3 days to get Ruse lynched, guess what, not happened yet. Something in there I think, maybe you were turned? Nah, your a leader, not about to risk hitting your own again, so go for someone who has said you are a leader, and not my own, rather than risk hitting your own team in Ruse, its smart, but your reasons are hollow.

Seriously, do we still have to make this game about the cult? I mean, it's day freaking 9. We've gone through 8 freaking nights. If the cult recruiter is still around, he's gotta be so ineffective as to not be any larger a threat than the rest of the factions.

I'm tired of looking at this easy-out lynch strategy, too. If one of you says this to me, I'm just gonna reach through my computer and punch you in the face.

THERE ARE NOW MORE NIGHTS THAN THERE ARE PLAYERS. I think it's time to stop acting like this is some scum v. town meat and potatoes game and address the fact that there are MULTIPLE FACTIONS.

I will post again after I have had time to study the thread and pinpoint someone who I think is both powerful and not in my faction.

We've yet to have a CF that we can reliably identify as the original recruiter. Emur's the closest we have to that. and D'riss CF lends new credence to Fener and Gamelon's reveals.

Not sure what the current cases are all about - I don't know anything about the books so can't analyze the Cf's either. I am not sure which of the Ruse-case or the Rashan-case are the best - I still want to lynch Liosan, but there was never much consensus on that matter. It certainly looks like Ruse and Liosan are on the same team - or possibly one of the are fake symping a faction. It certainly could be Ruse, or it could be Liosan. Just looking at it fact wise, the Ruse case is the lesser of two evils. The Rashan case just seems to be about him being bossy, which is kind of funny actually. The Ruse case has been around for a while, almost like there's something more going on here.

There's already two votes on Rashan, lets see what happens if there's two votes on Ruse aswell.

Going after the cult is just plain lazy, though, when there could be so much more shit going on. I mean, wouldn't a faction with 3 left also be a WCS, as by tomorrow they could have the numbers to run the game?

Here's what I think happened:
Point 1- Fener was the original cult leader/recruiter. This is supported by my argument yesterday that recruiting Fener at any point would have just been a silly thing to do. Also, Fener's "reveal," I think, was pretty weak. It didn't have a lot of specific information and he was familiar with the books. I think he could have easily guessed the Heshette would be a faction in the game.
Point 2- When Fener was lynched, his leadership/recruiting power was passed to Gamelon. See my "the/a" article essay. It was a unique role and it must have been passed down. This is further reinforced by the scene when Fener was lynched. Fener had red eyes, he was killed, and then someone else had red eyes. Gamelon could have been recruited or been in league with Fener from the beginning. I tend to think Game's "reveal" was based on truth from the role he had before he was recruited, as it contained a lot more specific information. I dunno whether it was accurate, but he risked more by divulging more. And if he was recruited, all the better for us, as that's one less recruit to worry about.
Point 3- There are tops 3 recruited cult members still out there, but they don't have a leader and likely don't know who each other are, making them just as, if not less threatening than other factions in the game. Also, if the recruiter was a passed-down role, it most likely wasn't as effective, meaning they most likely got less than 3 people recruited before they were both lynched. I mean, if Fener got to chose which of his followers to pass down his powers to, Game would be the last choice. It's a lot of assumptions, but it could mean Game was the only one recruited and there are zero cult left.

My reasoning of events is not air-tight, but I think it's solid enough to gamble on looking at other factions as a far more significant threat to victory.
