Hmm, I feel bad about the non-activity. I saw "mini" and for some reason my brain equated that with less time commitment. I've been at a conference all week, and I'm probably taking another trip tomorrow, so I apologize if I took a space for someone who would have contributed more. (Also sorry about the nakedness.)
I guess there's some things to say in my defense now, though I am facepalming over how bad it looks that my only vote is one of the early ones on Kesso. I definitely would have voted for Game after he said he was confident that his team was nearly half the remaining players. But...the vote went kinda fast there. And if you're wondering if I'm the one causing nights to last a long time, I'd just like to say that if I had any sort of night action, night would have only ended right about now.
As for Game's CF, all I can say is the mod needs to take some lessons in articles. "THE" implies there is only one, "A" implies there could be more. I still don't understand how two people could CF as THE Mesmerist unless it was an inherited power or it's some weird grammatical rule inherent in the books. Like, "Collectively, WE are THE Mesmerist," or some shit. If that makes me cultish, then so be it, but it's a basic rule of the English language.
Also, I never said we should look away from the cult, I was just trying to understand what was going on with Fener's CF.
As I said before, it seemed strange that an important cult role would make himself so visible. But now with Game's CF, I gotta scratch my head and wonder. What if "the Mesmerist" is just a standard tag for anyone recruited (as abusive to the English language as that is)? Fener not being an important cult role actually makes a lot more sense. But that would mean the recruiter is still around - 5 nights to recruit, 2 of the recruits dead - which leaves a possible 4 cult members still around. D-Day anyone?
Unfortunately, I have no idea who the recruiter could be. Given the idea that Fener wasn't as important as we think he is, Ruse looks a little more likely, since a master voting for a grunt isn't as big of a deal, but it could just as easily be one of my quiet compatriots. Or, hell, it could have been Fener. These CFs are really annoying...
