Torvald Nom...?

Hey everyone, I just finished Reaper's Gale and started Toll The Hounds and it's already amazing. One problem I'm having though is Torvald Nom. His name sounds so familiar (obviously because of Rallick Nom) but for some reason i cant remember if he was in another book. Specifically Deadhouse Gates im guessing. Could someone just let me know if he was in any of the previous books? no spoilers on what he's going to do or might do or whatever lol, just wanna know his history in the book up until Toll the Hounds.

He was the guy with Karsa during HoC, before Karsa met up with Leoman.

Yep, he's the anti-Malazan guarilla Karsa met in the prison of Silver Lake. He made the journey with Karsa to Seven Cities, where they departed.

Go to the Hall of Fame forum (down the bottom of the main page) and read Illuyankas' entry on Torvald FUCKING Nom. Then you'll definitely remember who he is (and laugh along the way).

ooooooooooooooooooooh! ok, crap, its all coming back to me, and yeah, Torvald FUCKING Nom is badass XD
lol, thanks guys, im definetly going to re-read the entire series if i finish Toll The Hounds too soon before i can get Dust of Dreams lol. its things like this that stop me from reading forward in these books lol.

Curse you Erikson and your amazing literary and yarn spinning skills! so many characters lol.
