A while ago someone (don't know who and now I can't find the post, could've imagined it)
posted a request for Quick Ben using Chitewel Ejiofor for reference.
And being the obliging fella I am, plus a serious lack of inspiration, here it is.

Rejoice. For very bad things are about to happen

Chitewel Ejiofor is a bit of a conehead I presume? B)

Nice picture though. I don't know if perhaps this image is not a bit too beefy for the image I have of Quick Ben. He needs to be wiry thin.

I think he needs to look a bit more... aged, maybe? He's from Seven Cities, and I don't think they stay smooth-skinned for long due to the environment. Love the eyes though, you've got them just right I think B)

That is... Awesome. B) It was actually me who made the request, and it really is excellent. Thanks, Corporal Nobbs, much invisible rep to you. :p

With the style nobs used I don't know if that form of criticism is fair.

But he is a mage. Wasn't there some mention of
Spoiler

I don't think the desert hurt him much.

Probably true... I dunno, he just seemed a bit older, when I invisioned him... that spoiler occured quite a while ago, after all.

It's a great picture, but he looks a bit too...young for a mage who's lived through decades of war. He should look a little bit older, I think. Leathery skin would be very hard to do though, so I dunno how you could make him look older...

@Brood, this is the Fantasy Art forum, don't we have to spoiler everything book-related just in case?

That he's from Seven Cities? That's certainly not a spoiler, and I specifically didn't mention any of the content of Apt's.

Haha nevermind. My tired mind read it wrong. I thought you were saying it didn't need to be spoilered. My bad.

I do agree with you though, he should look a little older. He looks in his twenties there.

He looks great...like he's surrounded by a desert wind.

Could you show him grinning? It'd be cool.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.
