My golden retriever puts up with baths pretty well. She does try to pull away once in a while, but doesn't put much effort into it. She doesn't need to be on drugs first, plus she doesn't whine about it every 5 seconds. It probably has to do with the specific breed.
edit: I think I really do dislike cats intensely. I kept smiling through that whole video, and chuckled every time the cat whined.
