Malazan Empire: Toblakai/Trell/Barghast/Imass/Jhag/Eres - Malazan Empire

Now how are these all related? I think it was clued that Jhags are part Toblakai, part Jaghuts. Eres are the first species in a way. Imass from them somehow. Barghast were shown as being descendants of the Imass who didn't make the ritual.

But where does that leave the Toblakai and Trell? How do they relate to the Imass and Barghast, if at all?
