Okay so at the end of Blood Rites Harry reveals

Then Bob goes on about Hellfire and whatnot.

And this Hellfire, does it make Harry more powerful? Or is it just some kind of different magic?

more on that later. Its pretty damn cool.

Hell fire is a different sort of magic than what a Mortal Should be able to use. It comes from Hell and is directly associated with the Christian demons and all that Jazz. We don't know much about it, but what little we know you should probably read and find out.

It makes Harry MUCH STRONGER. The danger lies in the temptation to use it, using Hellfire is inviting bad things inside your head and soul.

Oh yeah, is it just me or does Butcher seem to be entertaining some idea of romance between Harry and Murphy.

re Hellfire, this is a real RAFO situation. Lasciel and Harry are a major plotline and I don't want to spoil it. As Apt says, yes it's important and if you keep reading you'll see why.

As for the Murphy/Harry thing, their relationship is one of my favourite parts of the books.
