I remember Tiserra saying that she'd had 2 lovers, and neither lasted more than a month.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

As if she's going to admit to Torvald that she's sleeping with Rallick, though.

Mmh, if I remember correctly, both Rallick and Torvald were competing for Tiserra's love back when they were younger, but Torvald won. That's the connection.

Yeah, but when Rallick and Torvald came back from Lady Varada's estate after the attack by the assassins Tiserra was dreaming they were both naked or something.......
Looking for books that hold a candle to the Malazan series or the Shanara series. PM me if you can recommend one. :)

judging from that passage near the end of the book, where tiserra is on the pottery wheel and reflecting on her love of torvald, she would never be dishonest with her man. a threesome with that dark sexy assassin cousin though... and then you throw vorcan into the mix. i smell some pretty wild orgy parties in ICE's darujhistan novel
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

Maybe this is just me, but personally I don't think I'd want to be involved in a threesome with my cousin.

It's not like Torvald can impregnate Rallick and have an incestuous, mutant love-baby though...

I think it was Scorch and Leff, after Torvlad disappeared, she slept with them out of distress, and b/c they were close to Torvald. Then she realized she was sleeping w/ Scorch and Leff(probably not at the same time) and came to her senses.
This would also explain why she doesn't want Torvlad around them.

So, what is the deal with Nom and the
Spoiler
Did I miss something in the books. Don't think so. I assume it occurred after he split up from Karsa. I hope we find out more about it soon.In House of Chains - post throat-slice - Torvald says he's going to be acting on behalf of House Nom for a while. I think Darujhistan's nobility/trade cabals are enmeshing themselves with the Moranth through trade. House Nom may have gone after the Blue specifically for whatever reason, while the other Daru organizations linked with other Moranth clans.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
