Well, to be honest I dont really want to get involved in the pissing contest that's starting to develop. Does anyone have anything levelheaded to discuss?

Lio thinks he's been targeted because UB guessed huis alt and Si; was talkin about how Gam was being too nice before the pissing started

I got that. Personally I think BB would hang back a little for the first few days. Even with the ability to pass the killer torch on (and the incredible paranoia that causes), getting killed early will be a big blow and with only two I dont see them sticking their necks out too early. In that sense people who hang back are valid enough suspects, but I suppose I'm also one of those, so yeah.

thats true and it does kinda discredit my Fener-Meanas bit not that ive really gone back and quoted and built that yet and yea them qualities would incude you but as you said if you were low post/content cause of the early start and ya pick it up soon youll be fine

Like I said, it's just my opinion, it's not like I wouldn't vote for a highposter because there's no way a highposter would be the killer.

Okay, read through Gamelon, and most of the stuff was worthless. He agreed with a lot of people, he opened his posting with a blow-by-blow summary of the game up to that point, and he spends a lot of posts deciphering our silenced companions pictographs. But in his third post, something caught my eye. Its easy to pass off as a spelling mistake, but it seems awfully convenient given the subject matter of this game.

That's because Rashan hasn't been here. :)

However, there is actually some interesting stuff coming out now.
The post by Korlat is a indeed strange. An attack on Emur seems a little unwarrented, especially on evidence that seems more like a hunch. The "obvious" comment could just be poor wording, but the speculation about who silenced who is just going to tie everything in knots this early. I wasn't here for the other Benses game, so I've been thinking about the silencing factor. How effective can speculating about this be? Tennes is saying it's useless and Kesso is saying that suggesting it's not important sounds scummy. It might be important at some point, but IMO speculating might obfuscate things more than it helps if we over analyse it.

edit: crosspost with silanah and kesso

For those who want to know, or don't know, the correct spelling is unwarranted. I doubt spelling will get anyone lynched ever, but I think this is worth a vote, in my mind.

vote Gamelon

Crosspost with the entire fucking page.

that would be a really freaking subtle code, the kind of thing id expect if one of the bens cound send oneway PMs to the other, but they cant. still, Liosan is a warren so it could be a signal to mute him and HP is a warren (but not Kess) so could be indicatin something there

Well the roundabout with Ruse, Fener, Sil and Meanas seems to have toned down. Did Ruse and Fener just up and disappear? Emu posted the theory about Meanas and Fener and suddenly they're gone. Did it hit a nerve with one of them?

Tennes, your call for levelheaded discussion might get you voted on...

I went back and looked through Meanas' posts. Lots and lots of single line posts, (seriously, half of them have to be single lines, no more) but that just seems to be his style of posting. Until the current argument started that is.

Edit: cross post with a lot of people

The majority of the alts are names of warrens. If that's where Korv was going it's more than tenous.

Ok, Sil brought up a good point about Gamelon, imo. So, I was reading over his posts and, being the grammar nut that I am, (as if you hadn't all alt-guessed me anyways) I noticed the spelling mistake. Then , given the subject matter we are dealing with, and the fact that we're in a warren, I realized that this could be a code, mentioning his own job of silencing Emur while at the same time attempting to signal BB. If I noticed this, its entirely possible it would be noticed by someone looking for signals in people's early posts.

well if hes riled up in the pissing fight he might post more naturally and his single line posts mightve been him trying to keep his count up but not get too involved and tip his hand, thge whole single lines mightve been all a ploy

UR OBVIOSLY DEFENDING GAMELON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ZOMG IM OFF TO SEXPO.

Sorry, Couldn't resist.

If it is the only 'warren' mentioned in the post, I guess it could be, but a simple e for a spelling error would be a more likely culprit under the OR.

With the last couple of mafia games I wouldnt be surprised. Fener's disappearance is a little wierd, but he has been on and off all day.

but UB and BB know each other so why do you say UB would signal BB to let him know he silenced me? BB would already know that

I thought BB doesn't learn about UB until he shifts. I gotta check the OP, but the first BB would have to be signalled.

Why would UB want to signal something like that to BB. BB knows who he is... If say Lio was being discussed I could maybe buy BB trying to hint who he would like silenced, but that's way too tenous for a vote imho.

Edit crosspost. I'm pretty sure they know of each other.

id say its to tenuous until/unless someone finds more to the code wherein the actual player is signaledd and if that is HP or Lio then shazam

okay, this totally invalidates my argument. Therefore, the warren thing is probably nothing. I still don't like Gamelon's play style, but he says he hasn't had much time (though I thought time was a prerequisite for this game) and so without anything else to validate a vote,
