It only took us 5 and a half hours because I had to stop at 6 service stations to throw up and I had a sleep in the carpark on the toll cos I was so banjoed.

Hee hee hee. When you rang me during one of my spewing respites today, you said "I feel fine". I guess you hadn't sobered up at that point :killingme:

Who's that pretty lady with the goggle eyes then?

*still feels sick*

That quality day with Mr PigDog that I crawled home for last night has mainly involved me snoozing, vomiting and holding my head in my hands. He is disappointed that I didn't actually spew on a dog.

Those are some great pics Pete and I know there's going to be plenty more - some of them are just downright nasty!

Someone left a black jacket here with an mp3 player in the pocket. I'll be happy to parcel it up and post it back as long as I know here to post it!

I hope Dag got home ok. Dag, please please thank Mr B so very very much for the most awesome drawing of Bauchelain and Korbald Broach. I am going to scan it and post it on the forum because it is the best rendition I have ever seen. It is absolutely top quality and Bill and I are very very proud to own it :killingme:

........and could you all come back next weekend and finish off all the food and booze you bunch of light-weights didn't manage to get through please? :D

I can rather amazingly state that I didn't leave anything behind (barring my dignity). I finally got around to checking my belongings as I left Mr PigDogs this morning and I can't believe I have everything. It cannot have been me that made sure I left with all my stuff, so whoever it was that sorted it out, thank you!

Hangover Part II today. My kidneys hurt. I have a horribly pulled thigh muscle. I still feel nauseous. That bang on my head is still there. Awesome :killingme: I am going to cling happily to the wagon for at least a week!

I wish someone would put me out of my misery and post the late evening pictures. The anticipation is killing me. Although, they might at least jog my memory as to what happened. I haven't had a memory freeze like this one since I was 15 and drank a bottle of cooking sherry!

Mac, you're a drinking hero. What time did he start again on Sunday morning?

I can safely say that I don't think he stopped at all..... he has star quality :killingme:

The late evening pictures are .. messy... very messy. Liz there are some awesome ones of you lying on a sea of men in malazan t-shirts - they will be posted after we've had time to re-size them, later.

well, I got back in one piece after a week-end of heavy drinking, heavy eating and a lot of laughs. It's always a pleasure visiting Bill and Hazel, and the bbq turned out excellent. Sadly, the Steven Seagal drinking game knocked me out after we started substituting beer for whisky around 1 or 2 am, but still, I enjoyed myself imensly.

Twas a pleasure seeing you all again, and meeting those few of you I've not said hi to in real life before. Liz lived up to the legend, and Mat was as irish as ever. Thankfully, with Mat fulfilling the role of the drunk irishman, tommy remained coherent throughout the evning and left with all diginity intact... Unlike Liz :killingme:

The highlights for me:

The village of the damned (of the spammed more likely with this forum) moments when everone had on a keeper T-shirt (royalties of 13p due to Urb)

Carrying Macros to the garage whilst he wedgied me.

Getting a good gun workout from holding Mezla upright for a while

Slugging Bushmills from the bottle (It really does taste like cream)

Listening to England block out the Aussies (turning disasterous defeat into mythical rearguard action, like Dunkirque, strangely apposite after I delivered my myths of WWII lecture in the garage to a bemused audience)

Illy - Cardinal Chunder, primate of the arch diosese of Barfshire...again. For wearing the same shirt.

Mrs Paleman for her incredibly vehement response to my quizing on South African concepts of masculinity (and not kicking my ass!)

Paleman for most innovative use of a toilet and having a 1st class DMC with me in the garage where I may have bizarrely asked him if he was ever addicted to crack?

Finally apologies to everyone who got one of my self righteous pontificating advice rants

You watch a Steven Seagal movie and take a drink whenever he maims or kills someone...

Cardinal Chunder, or how Illy has been ravaged by time in the last year.
As you can see from these two pictures taken a year apart time has caused a sartorial revolution for Illy - he bought a hat.
