Liosan still doesn't feel right, but I'm wary about how I came to that conclusion - namely, by way of Tellan. Serc did something incredibly stupid, but was it because he's scum, or new? And Korlat, Gamelon, and Silanah, well ... I'd be happy with any of the three.

So I'll probably wake up to find out that I've been lynched, which would make sense given the rampant stupidity on display so far. I hate to walk away without a vote, so ...

Also I am extremely disappointed people have been using their Role PM as they have, and the way the game has gone from it. Unfortunately it has happened during a Modless period and there was no one around to stop it.
I'm going to hold off Mod killing people for now because the list is to long and it would ruin the game more than it already has. However I don't want to see it happen again, if it does I will stop the game. Its worse because its coming from people who should know better.

Secondly I typed the role PM's hastily in a 20 minutes lunch break, I'm sure there are variations on lots of things, they were not intended to be used as evidence and nor should they be.

Do like me, in a no-surprise game, quote all the role PMs (including those not used in the game) in the opening post.

At this point, voting Serc for his "roled inno" comment is like pursuing a nazi foot soldier for crossing a red light.

Despite what Silanah said, Serc didn't "out" a roled inno, he just mentioned his opinion, which is worth what is worth. A mistake, yes, but not a killer's mistake. Then Liosan and cie proceeded to actually "out" players, with proof. I hope that some of the players that were "outed" at that time were intelligent roleless innos that took one for the team.

OK, I really am almost headed to bed, but ...

I don't really think Serc is scum, but I'm voting for him on the principle of him being an idiot. If I had a good scum target, I'd toss a vote for them, but I don't. So it's just a message vote: don't be that particular kind of idiot. Even if a bunch of us then went and did the same thing.

I'll stick around for just a bit longer, to see if anything comes up ... come to think of it, I'm in the mood to cook some bacon ...

If something is to come out of this mess, I'm tempted to vote Korvalain.

Look at how he was attacking Liosan and Silanah until they basically had to reveal all the info of the role PM.

Then all of a sudden he goes "lol I'm an idiot, you guys are legit, sorry I was slow to react" then attacks Tellan. This behavior is a perfect "trap" for inno roled players, he was hoping that by providing a strong opposing voice he could convince others to come out and get the confidence to support him, before turning on them.

Depending on the size of the scum team, he could either be one of the killers that was willing to take one for the team in exchange for information, or the symp. Maybe even a killer, considering on how he managed to get himself out of the spotlight. Even on day 1 he had talks of "well, you guys will FOR SURE lynch me..." (i.e. when he was pushing the lynch on D'riss)

The pre-emptive "you'll lynch me for sure" or "I deserve to get lynched" comments are very powerful anti-lynch manipulations in this game, I think Korv knows his trick books inside out.

People can make of it what they will because enough kegs of wine have been spilled today. I said what I said but I did not go around and bitchfest about role PMs. I know from the last game or two just the kind of trouble that causes.

My first real instinct is that all of the mess around me was interesting in that it drove conversation almost immediately away from Silanah, who has been arguing non-stop with people since the start (well, since he stopped RPing). Convenient for him, but not really scummy because let's face it, innos make cases. That's their job. Then of course, it got ugly with who-said-what and this and that. People have said Gamelon 'started' the role PM wording business, but it looks like it got started mostly from some interaction around Liosan?

After looking over Liosan's posts, he strikes me mostly as a cruiser who felt the need to start participating, but not necessarily scummy. Maybe noob (again, I realize the irony of that since I'm getting called the same thing, at best), but something doesn't sit right and it's not really Liosan's scum potential, it's the fact that the train moved... again... quickly (kind of like the business yesterday with the hop off-hop on).

Overall, the biggest issue I have is probably just non-participation in the lynch business.

Tennes did two drive-by votes then saw he was getting flak for it and removed the second. It's not a solid case, but right now he is the lowest participant (I think, not sure how to post count quickly?) and has voted twice. I honestly don't think he's likely to be scum, but I think there's enough of a case that he hasn't pulled his weight to place my vote there. Dunno if it will be enough for a lynch, but that's my thought for now.
