It's all about Monty Python. I think.

Finally saw the first three eps. Liking this so far. The T wandering around with a dead head impaled on his neck was just sick and the way they keep coming up with convenient/clever ways to stop the T units without dispelling the sheer unstoppable thing Arnold had going in the flics is good fun.

Okay, so just watched the 2 hour season finale, and all I gotta say is WOW, do they know how to close out the first short season. Just a brilliant set of eps.....the latter hour being far more poignant of course....

and my fave part on this episode (and one of the reasons I think this show is just as brilliant as LOST or Battlestar, or Heroes)...

This show has really grown on me. It's got some serious style and growing interesting story. I really hope it gets picked up for a full season.

And my gawd, Summer Glau is freaking hot.

What are you guys talking about? It WAS picked up for a full season back in early February, and the only reason they did the season finale now is cause they had only written and shot that many episodes BEFORE the writers strike, and by the time they could pump more out, most shows would be ending for summer hiatus anyways.....and as far as I heard they'll be back with season 2 in the fall. I was sure we'd already talked about this.

My sources agree that the season was shortened because of the strike, but on the renewal front they say things are uncertain - it started strong, but lost a LOT of viewers by the mid-point. If the finale doesn't rate high, it may not be looking good.

Which would be a shame, because two more eps in, i'm really enjoying this. Dekker's less annoying, the interaction between Sarah and Caeron is really well done, and Brian Austin Green can act (mostly) - who knew?

- Abyss, has 'sources', yes...
