It seldom is, but singling out one person for behavorial pattern X that is also exhibited by others seems far to random to lynch on, even on day 1. Pushing someone can be a start, and he sure seems good at pushing, so i'm not going to vote him for starting this little party, but for now, I'm aware of how random this all is.

Well, I applaud Fener for trying to get the game moving on. On the other hand, if he turns out to be evil, I never made this embarrasing statement.

I doubt his case on Mockra would stand up in a court of law, but luckily, this isn't a court of law! Bar justice, right? Usually involving the sharp end of a smashed bottle. At the moment, I have no suspects, so I have to go with other reasons. The drunk talk was getting tired toward the end there (at least two pages too many), and as Liosan is continuing with it, my bar justice bottle is pointed directly at him at the moment.

Depends on how said aggression is used, and in this case, it allows Fener the distinct bragging rights that they were the one to kick this game into motion, showing us all how active he is.

Ok, but now the first person that tries to make a case is immediately shot down? Not saying I agree with Fener and he is being hella pushy, but he's trying. By being aggressive Fener's gotten some serious responses from people. Hell he's drawn me into making a serious post and I just came back to say goodnight. If you dont agree with him then make a case of your own. That's how day one usually works. You pick up on some inane thing that noone would take seriously on day 3, lay on some pressure and see who responds. And at the moment Fener seems to have landed on some indignant and very defensive people. The case is laughable tbh but noones laughing and so he pushes it...

@Tellan - they usually are, but sometimes killers do slip up early in the game but they're really just a stepping stone for info to use in the later days.

So then dont vote. I feel pretty much the same way, but some people are getting really defensive. Maybe it's just because I was also one of the people getting tired of the RP and was glad when I saw a case, even if it wasnt a great one.

We get to that point by assessing reactions and relations between players.

Lumping people together because you do not like their initial reaction is not applying pressure or searching for links between players, it is not allowing people to disagree, or stating that because they disagree, they must be scum.

Imho, with the way you went straight for their throat, you skipped the phase that's called reflection and passed from aggression into the previously mentioned realm of bloodthirst.

I agree, he did start spouting accusations and strawmanned a little. Although TBH Meanas seems pretty worked up about the vote on Mockra, seems like a bit of an overreaction to me.
