Someone please tell me I'm not alone in one last look after brushing teeth, or getting up 15 mins after I lay down for one last peek. Is that like bad?

I was doing it last night before I went to bed, which is why I stayed up until 2 fucking a.m.!

Well, it's only half 4 in the afternoon where I am. But I have stayed up till 3am pressing the F5 button in recent days.....

So I'm an addict? Cheaper than crack I guess.

The angry shouts in the bar after the deaths of Anomandaris and Emurlahn rise to deafening levels, which is incredible considering there are only 10 of you still standing.

The crowd turns back toward Shadow, who meagerly offers, "Would it help if I said that I am still innocent and lynching me will only help the remaining killers?"

A chorus of, "NO!" responds.

Shadow fidgets uncomfortably as the crowd turns on him when suddenly a small voice says, "Maybe we should look at Tennes... he did push the lynch of another innocent man..." The crowd pays this person no heed so he speaks up a little louder. "I said, maybe Tennes is worth a second look." Another few seconds pass and Shadow has taken to the fetal position when suddenly the voice speaks up again, less meagerly.

"Very well. Tennes is evil. I searched through his belongings during the lynch and found a copy of Darkwatch's recipe." The crowd stops and someone looks back at the speaker, Telas.

Telas continues. "I am Fener's partner. I fear I am not long for this world and I want you to know that Tennes is guilty."

Tennes laughs. "Are we going to believe this cruising flim-flam? He thinks I pushed to lynch Emurlahn and suddenly is pushing one on me?"

Telas smiles. "I can prove it." He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a crumbled piece of paper with a clear tear mark down the side. Telas then goes over to Fener's corpse, piled against the wall of the bar and pulls off his right shoe. He rumages in the shoe for a moment... and pulls out another peice of paper with a clear tear mark down one side...

Telas puts the two pieces together along the tear and reveals a message that spans both pieces.

TELAS IS MY PARTNER

The crowd needs little motivation and immediately turns on Tennes, who can only cry, "You fools! I am not...arrgggh!" When he stops thrashing, someone looks in his jacket... and finds a clearly scribbled copy of Darkwatch's recipe!

"Hah! Great job, Telas," says one patron. The crowd turns back to Telas who is sitting near Fener's body.

And then it becomes very clear that he is not sitting but hunched over, with a jagged shiv shoved into his back. A small piece of paper hangs on the note.

Too clever for his own good. It comes as no surprise that Telas had nothing incriminating on him.

All anyone can hear is the chirping of a few crickets outside.

Tennes(Vengeance) was lynched. He was Bent's bouncer and scum.
Telas(Shinrei no Shintei) was killed. He was innocent.

Well, can I be the first to congratulate unfortunately-departed Telas on a good job well done on finding scum...and saving my ass for another day.

Woot! I'm hoping we have one, maybe two scum left :( I guess now a reread of Tennes is in order.

Does anyone else think it's safe to assume there is only one killer left, or could there be more? If majority think only one killer, then it might be worth revealing who was guarded, as then they can be CIed, I think.

So we're dealing with at least one more killer than it would seem. Clearly the scum was involved in that train and had a chance to get their provisional in.

I think we're dealing with only one more.

Or the current provisional of whoever is killed goes through on the new killers behalf. Narrowing it down would be nice, but we cant be sure of the mechanic :(

We are not NEARLY close enough to the end to ask the guard for a reveal. Tomorrow with 5 people and 3 CI'd (one guard, two guarded) then yes.

edit - wait then we are nearly there. should do maths before typing.

That's very true. We can't discount those who weren't here (Ampelas, Korlat, Tellan)

It's potentially dangerous, too - this is the second time scum was lynched, and the second time a kill went through, and even if the chance is big that scum was on the train, we can't discard the possibility that there was scum around to send in or confirm the kill. If Tennes had a partner, that one could have submitted, too, but refrained from voting. Uff. It's less exciting and a whole of a lot more difficult, but also a whole lot safer to assume for now that any of us can be the killer, imho.

Does anyone have a guesstimate of how many people at maximum were watching the thread during the time between the reveal and the lynch?

cross-post with a few people.

I think so. I think any interaction, or lack thereof, with Tennes needs to be investigated.

Yeah, I'm heading out now and have no idea who to vote, I wager noone else does either. A careful reread is in order - we need to examine Tennes now that we know he is scum.

Yeah, I saw Gavin and Gem read the game, but didn't pay enough attention to the number of anons and guests to make a guess :(
